Similar to my other thread, except this time exclusively for adventure games released on the Wii.

I may be missing some, so if I am just reply with what you have that isn't listed.

(I know TMI isn't out on Wii for another couple days, but vote if you plan on getting it)

Not as far as I know, but if there are I'm sure someone will shed some light on them, heh.

But Broken Sword on Wii has some extra stuff, being that it's the director's cut.

Let's go through the list!

Broken Sword DS/Wii is an expanded version of the original game, and includes additional sections featuring Nico, whom you control. They've also sorted out that ridiculous Goat puzzle, thank Bubs.

The three Humongous games (Freddi Fish, Pajama Sam and Spy Fox) were actually just ports of the original PC versions running on ScummVM, which wasn't mentioned at all either on the game or the box. Following a legal intervention by the guys behind ScummVM, Atari (the publishers) have agreed to stop printing copies of the game. You can read about it here (http://sev-notes.blogspot.com/2009/06/gpl-scummvm-and-violations.html).

I picked up Indy Wii and was almost immediately disappointed. I won't go into detail here - I'll point you in the direction of my review of it (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.119855) - but Fate of Atlantis is the best thing about the game. Still wish I could properly quit it though.

Sam & Max: Season One (or Sam & Max Save the World, as it must now be known) wasn't the best port it could have been. Letting Sam run places as he could in Beyond Time and Space is a great move, but the game frequently cuts off the end of sentences and the framerate during the driving sections is horrific. Seriously, it's almost unplayable. I really hope they do a better job with BTaS.

I bought all of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People via WiiWare, mostly because I think the Wii is the natural home for adventure games. Getting maximum awesomeness is a right pain in the Thnickerman, especially in Episode 3, but they're still very entertaining games and I love them all the same. Even if they are stupidly hard in places. Using Onion on Homestar? Who made THAT connection?

Tales of Monkey Island isn't out for the Wii yet - still. When it is, I'll grab it there. It may cost more, but there's not enough adventure games on the Wii, and it's where I got SBCG4AP.

So in short, I have them all except for Freddi Fish and ToMI. Don't judge me.

...

There's a couple of other adventure games out there which you haven't included in your list. The ones I have are Secret Files: Tunkuska, Secret Files: Puritas Cordis and Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barboros' Treasure, though that last one is debatable.

Other adventure games which I don't have (mainly because I'm not a fan of first-person adventures) are Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None, Another Code: R, Cate West: The Vanishing Files, CSI: Hard Evidence, Diabolik: The Original Sin (http://www.wiisworld.com/wii-news/diabolik-on-wii.html), Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law (http://www.wiisworld.com/wii-games/Harvey-Birdman-Attorney-at-Law.html) and Nancy Drew:The White Wolf of Icicle Creek. I'm sure there's more, but it's late, I'm tired and I can't be bothered to search for them right now.

There's also a Wii version of So Blonde coming soonish, so I'll probably pick that up at some point as well. Other forthcoming Wii games are:
A New Beginning (http://www.wiisworld.com/wii-news/a-new-beginning-adventure-on-wii.html), Cursed Mountain (http://www.wiisworld.com/wii-games/Cursed-Mountain.html), MySims Agents (http://www.wiisworld.com/wii-games/MySims-Agents.html) and Where's Waldo (http://www.wiisworld.com/wii-news/wheres-waldo-wii-game.html), if you want to consider that an adventure.

I've been meaning to pick up Zack and Wiki for a long time, but I just keep putting it off. My Wii hasn't gotten an ounce of adventure love yet...

So, zack and wiki, is like a puzzle game? a comedy? What.

There are a few adventure games more for Wii:
Evil under the sun
Detective Conan: The Mirapolis Investigation

Runaway: The dream of the Turtle and Runaway: A twist of Fate are coming too.

Action and adventure games (http://videogam-es.com/action-and-adventure-games/) belongs to that genre of games which involve exotic games like wrestling, fighting, space travels, star wars (http://videogam-es.com/lego-star-wars/), fictional adventures and situational games.
Action and adventure games may be single-player or multi-player. Since, narration used to be the main focus of these so they are mostly in single-player mode.

It is a adventure game in the sense of Myst as an adventure game, just that it is much lighter at heart. It lacks in a story, but it truly showcase the capability of Wii as a platform for alternative mechanism than the standard point and click. Of course, some may think of it as gimmicky (much like how Another Code/Trace Memory on DS uses a number of functions to solve the puzzles for the sake of using those function, e.g. blowing into the microphone), but it is quite stellar nonetheless.

Here's a review of Zack and Wiki on adventuregamers: http://www.adventuregamers.com/article/id,830/

If you think the gobliiins saga are adventure games, then Zan & Wiki are the same kind of adventure game.

And I remember reading somewhere that the Runaway series is coming to the Wii. Can't say I'm looking forward to it though - some of the puzzles are just plain stupid. Mixing Peanuts and Butter to get Peanut Butter?

I would say Zack and Wiki is an adventure game. It's very unique, it's from Capcom, so it's what a Japanese adventure game would look like. But it's not a traditional P&C. There's lots of waggle!

But great game, I urge you all to go and buy it! It got solid reviews too :)

By the way, I do think that both Gobliiins and Zak&Wiki actually are adventure games.

I would describe Zack & Wiki more as a puzzle game, since there's not a big pile of adventuring and a hell of a lot of puzzle solving. That said, it's a mint game and should be sufficient to answer PariahKing's question. That said, the Another Code series is notable in this discussion.

I'd count Zack and Wiki as an adventure game, If only because I find the game totally epic. Tons of replay value, Especially the secret ending to the first boss.
