Ok that's it. I give up.
I know I have to melt the parrot in it.
I have the coals in there.
But it's not on
looks like a piece is missing.
Of the barbecue and my brain apparently.
All guybrush will tell me is that its not even on.
I've used every object I've got with it.
What am I missing?

You need the hot tub controls found in the throne room, on the throne. You can only obtain these if you've gotten all three artifacts.

well it would seem that you need some sort of missing piece... yes

based on the markings above the hole... some sort of dial or switch for hot - cold

the pirates had an embargo on the island, so the per people had to improvise... its possible they took the dial and used it somewhere else

know of anything else that uses a temperature dial on the islands?

Check the empty Mer-King throne... im sure something will "spark" your imagination

I find it interesting to see different ways people get stuck. I knew I needed it long before I did. I kept trying to take it and couldn't because I wasn't supposed to yet.

Well I am truly stuck, not oftern do I look for a hints but need help here! when trying to pick up the hotcoals get a message about fingers being burnt. After looking at al my inventory and do not see anything to put the hot coals in by the library...

You should try finding a different route from the BBQ to the pedestal.

That one took me awhile, yeah.Lol, just the way I played the game worked out, I picked up the temperature dial before I even realised I needed the barbecue :P
