on the opening with the voodoo lady reading the cards did anyone else think it was weird that the voodo lady laughed when she knew guybrush might be killed by morgan

Her laugh did creep me out, yes. Heck, if anyone knows everything in the Monkey Island universe it's her. She's the Queen of Dodging Subjects.

I can't see her being made into a Big Bad nevertheless, though [even if I do think this locket thing is gonna be another Big Whoop on her part].

Nah, I thought it was funny. In fact, I loved that whole scene. It really felt like the Voodoo lady was all knowing (since I've got a wallpaper up right now that has all those cards on it so it was like "woah, FORWARD PLANNING, VOODOO LADY! YOU CRAZY!"). Definitely made me feel like I was getting a peak at how grand the whole story actually is, and how clueless to it we are right now. This series is probably the best told of all the recent Monkey Islands

anyone think the guy on the "Sacrifice" Tarot Card looked like an older version of DeCava?

I thought his parents were dead. Maybe I didn't understand the end to LeChuck's Revenge...

Then again, I don't think anyone truly understands or will ever understand LeChuck's Revenge.

Theres also that part where LeChuck and Guybrush are brothers that seems to have been forgotten.

Actually, that has been clarified. It was just an hex LeChuck put on Guybrush. They are not related at all.

I was hoping for a "From the journal of Guybrush Threepwood" recap to deal with the "previously on" bit, we've not had one of those in relation to TMI yet.
