Is this a bug? (Bogey Man)

I'm in the very beginning and when I pick up the eavesdropper and clue finder, they don't show up in my inventory. The little icon that says I got the item shows up, but the item itself isn't in my inventory.

I'm in the very beginning and when I pick up the eavesdropper and clue finder, they don't show up in my inventory. The little icon that says I got the item shows up, but the item itself isn't in my inventory.

The eavesdropper and clue finder can't be used directly on things in the environment, so they don't show up on the 'quick list'. To use them, open up the inventory properly (I think you press the 'I' key) and select them there.
