Any ideas?

We've had Hypnosis and Hell

What's next supernatural, with witches, curses, spells and cults?
Freakish Forms, with circus freaks, the deranged and mad, crazy cat lady?

Or maybe just something else beginning with H?

Any ideas, guys?

I hope alternate universes are involved. That'd be fun.

Although, it would confuse me with Sam and Max: Through Time and Space, it's still a neat idea.

My thought exactly. Even more possibilities than time travel! (Which I mention since I tend to associate the two concepts with each other; you can thank Michael Crichton for that.) And for some reason, it seems like the next logical step from where we've been so far.

The thought of "More aliens, perhaps?" also occurred to me. Followed by noticing today's Google main page:

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y88/LightRises/Picture1.png

Coincidence?!! ... Yeah, probably. But glimpses of worlds beyond Sam & Max's little blue-green glob of terra firma could be neat (the Moon notwithstanding). The Mariachis purchased their spaceship from someone, after all. That said, I'd still much prefer alternative universes given these two choices.

Sam and Max on other worlds

I wonder if they go to a universe of other TV shows, films and etc.

Before leaving, how about exploring this world. I'm thinking of a World Tour thingy where they give their unique take on international tourism and challenge some cliches while gloriously indulging in others. Drawn without reference material, naturally.

Sci-Fi. I'd like them to put their own take on Fantastic Voyage, Journey to the Centre of the Earth, alternate universes etc.

You mean like this (http://s701.photobucket.com/albums/ww20/Smeghead88/?action=view&current=samandmaxworldtourXtrouble-5.png)?

That's a little something I whipped up for a thread about what the season would be about like, two months ago.

You don't understand. The Soda Poppers were recently defeated in What's New - they are the bosses of that finale, because they were the mastermind behind the whole season's eleobrate plot.

You're probably thinking that they were defeated in Culture Shock, but Brady Culture is the boss of that episode, as he had hyponitised the Poppers as his pawns, to do his evil bidding (so techinically they're not bosses).

Hugh Bliss - since his defeat, I can only recollect his appearance in What's New. Which is 1/5 of his possible appearances since Bright Side, so that shows he's not going to make many more appearances, besides being not such a popular character. And his calendar appearances don't count - as there was no Hugh Bliss voice acting.

That's hilarous, seeing how they did touched upon goth culture, Glenn Miller, Jimmy Hoffa and etc. I could seeing that being an episode.

I don't really know see how it would work though as a fully fledged story.

I said before, not after! You said before originally too, which is why I said what I said.

I would go on to mention how I meant we saw Hugh Bliss in every Season 1 episode except 101 & 103 etc. (even if it wasn't actually him in 105) but seeing as we've been talking at cross purposes, the last two posts (three if you include this one) are pointless.

My apologies for sounding unfriendly. It's not intentional. I just like to get my point across.

EDIT: Also, Myra was hypnotised but she's still the boss of 102.

I dunno, I kinda liked the season two style where nothing really fit together until the last two episodes, and how It really combined the themes of time and hell. The first season's total devotion to the hypnotizing theme got a little boring at the fourth episode, specially since almost every episode had Sam going "That person must be hypnotized!"

Yeah, I agree - but season 1 felt like they were going on actual mysteries - season 2 was so random in its locations (but good! :D) I mean The North Pole, Easter Island, Stutgratt, Alien Spaceship, Hell? Not like the traditional American locations like The White House, Casino, Home for Child Stars and TV Studio. Although they did kind of run out of ideas when they moved onto the Internet and the Moon...I guess we won't see those close-to-earth locations anymore, like I said I'm pleased of the very different locations, but I wish they could have gradually phased out the more down-to-earth ones, that's all.

Well, when you think about it, Hell WAS directly under their office. And being deep in Earth's core seems pretty "down to earth" to me. I do wish they had used the car more for transportation, though. Episodes one and three were the only times in season two where they drove the car for any reason other than the minigame. I was starting to miss the music that played as they jumped into the DeSoto and sped away. I mean, what's the point of having the totally pimped out car if you never get to show it off?

I enjoyed the break from the car. 3 episodes was enough to experiment with it. And I do not wish to drive again (except for those awesome mini games. :D)

Ice Station Santa- Duh, Christmas.
Moai Better Blues - "Easter" Island
Night of the Raving Dead - Halloween
Mariachis - BIRTHDAY!
Hell - National Huntington's Disease Awareness Day, or, June 6th, Which is 2/3 the number of the beast.

I know it was already the focus of an episode, but I'd love to see a full season of time travel. Instead of just having one scene from each time period, each episode could be a different time period, and S&M could interact with the ancestors of supporting characters (who just happen to look a whole lot like redressed versions of their future selves). Come on, think of the possibilites. Sam & Max in the middle ages. Sam & Max in the wild west. Sam & Max in ancient Rome. Sam & Max in feudal Japan. Sam & Max in prehistoric times!

Aside from that, I would love to see what Telltale could do with the roadside attractions theme from Hit The Road.

I think this is the old joke that Sam and Max are going to hell when they finally die. After all, think of all the less-than-good stuff they've done over the years, including killing a few people in cold blood!

Satan: Really? I don't want you to get tired of me so soon, since you're going to be seeing so much of me later.
Sam: I didn't like the sound of that...
Max: Don't sweat it, Sam. We're bound to get reincarnated as each other a few times, anyway.
Sam: You crack me up, little blasphemer.

I think it's just another "Sam are Max going to Hell" joke.

He's acting like a CEO from a Corporation. Those people ussually use parties for make connections and what not.

The phrase of see of me much more is way more suspicious than this part, but, who knows, since now Sam and Max know the River Stix is under their street, probably they will take advantage of it.

(But I still remember the Afterlife-Based Comic about they in fact go to heaven. But who knows...)

I thought that was meant to be an imagination sequence, or something. Possibly because I refuse to believe that Sam would casually smother Max to death with a pillow like that.

Though the Adventurer comics rarely made any sense, even by Sam and Max standards.

He commit suicide after that, so, that somewhat fix it.

You know... I like the idea, because, even if they do bad stuff, rarely I feel Max (or sometimes Sam, but depend of what) actually weight the bad stuff he does. Granted, sometimes he do know, but I always feel he's more innocent than nothing. A somewhat twisted innocence, but innocent at the end. And what it's good or bad it's depend of each person, so, in some way I believe, in his twisted ethic, he's not that bad after all.

Or... Am I reading to much into it?

I really want them to battle their older and more classic enemies, such as the ones in the comic books, and maybe Conroy Bumpus from HtR? It's good to have Flint Paper (although I would like him to look a bit more realistic unlike the other characters, that was the idea behind him in the comics after all) but it's kinda not enough now.

Yes.

Your absolutely right AND your reading too far into it. But then maybe it was meant to be read into on many different levels like StarWars or Charlie Brown (both of which have like 8 different levels of meaning...)
