One of my favorite aspects of CMI was the fact that there were so many songs. Although it was the only game to do this (technically MI2 had a song, see below), I thought it fit the series and characters perfectly. I would really like if they brought it back, and I would especially like to hear a version of the song from MI2 sung out loud:

It's one of the songs that Bart and Fink sing in Monkey Island 2 when you ask them if they know any pirate songs.

and don't forget the 9999 bottles of beer on the wall song... as someone said in another thread, that's going to take some very patient voice-acting if they keep it in the remake :)
