The Beyond Time and Space achievements have appeared. (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/sam-and-max-beyond-time-and-space/achievements/) Does that mean the game is close to release?

Not so far, if I had to bet, I'd bet it'll come out just a little before season 3 starts up. Hype machine and whatnot.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Why telltale. My avatar would look sweet with a skull and crossbones Max shirt, or Sam's gun.
At least we got two new gamerpics w the game! Santa and Satan!
The game was developed before third party developers could create and embed avatar content in games. Not to mention that developing avatar content is almost like developing for a completely different game than the one you're working on.
I can say with certainty that Sam & Max Beyond Time & Space won't deliver avatar content in-game.

Splosion Man's still didn't come out. It's kind of pathetic that three months after launch no one has used them. :(
