Why did this work? *EPISODE 203 SPOILERS*

When I beat episode 203, it was just because i was messing around. I did not expect the monster to be able to kill Jurgen. Even after doing that I still do not understand what made the difference. It just seemed like Jurgen was not paying attention when the monster stabbed him. Why exactly was the monster able to kill Jurgen when Sam in Max's body couldn't? I'd like to know this because I'm planning to force a friend to play this, and I may want to give him a hint or two at some of the more difficult parts.

I believe that when the Monster has Jesse James' shooting hand, he's a very quick draw, and can out-pace Jurgen. That's my memory of events at least... it's been a while.

Not only that, but Jurgen wouldn't expect his own monster to stab him, would he?
