View Full Version : How about bringing in the knife mini-game?

Just an idea for any future Tales episodes, if any. What if say Guybrush walks into a bar and sees a pirate at a table play that game where as quickly stab the knife between your fingers with hurting yourself. Than can have Guybrush come up and ask if he could have a go to which then the screen goes close tp his hand and where ever you point the cursor, that's where Guybrush will stab.
This mini-game was so much fun in Full Throttle :)
And then could have with all the wounds on your hand, to gain favor from a pirate by saying all the wounds onhis hand are from the many battle he's been in :D

yeah!! then maybe afterwards he can give guybrush a ride in his truck's engine compartment in order to get through the roadblock

And then that guy can sabotage Guybrush's motorcycle, but it's ok because he gets killed by motorcycle bandits!

Guybrush has already lost one hand during Tales... He should be sure to take good care of his remaining one.

He should take a trip to the house of prostheses and attach a fake hand. He could then show what a mean and fearless pirate he is by cutting off his 'own' fingers.

Well this is my idea on how it could be brought back.
Guybrush is in a bar and he's found a pirate which he wants on his crew (or something else) and needs to first impress him. So you walk over to a pirate who's doing the knife game. You ask him if you can have a go. He keeps saying no. You keep saying can I have a go and then he lets you have a go. You can just continue to stab the spaces between the fingers which then going up to the pirate still doesn't impress him. Then you play the game again, if you stab every bit of your hand, you then show him your hand and Gutbrush says "these are all the wounds I've gotten from the many battle I've had" to which the pirate then says "then why are they all bleeding right now?" to which Guybrush replies "they never stop bleeding" so the pirate is impressed and agrees to whatever. If you show him the hand with only a few wounds, the pirate would "ha, those look like butter knife wounds".
See this would be perfect :D
Plus at some point, Guybrush might have his other hand back but we don't know.
