How long for activation? [Archive] - Telltale Games Forums

I downloaded and installed the game 6 hours ago and immediately sent the support e-mail with the hardware code. What now? How long does it take for TellTale to send the activation code?
In Steam this only takes seconds (well minutes) why does it take so long here??? :confused:

You shouldn't need an activation code at all. Click "I already purchased this" in the demo screen and enter your order id and the password you used during the checkout process and the game will unlock itself.

Yes, but what if the message "Error! Missing one or more tags" pops up when you click the "I've already purchased this" link? I'm getting the same error as this fellow (http://telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1295) is.

I did send the email to tech support, but was told to wait a few days and get back to them. :(

Wait a few DAYS? Are you kidding me? That's pretty harsh for people locked out of the game!

I got locked out just for turning SLI on... seems to be working again now, but man, what a pain, so now I'm stuck running it without SLI :(

You could activate again with SLI turned on, then it will work with or without SLI. Turning on/off SLI changes your hardware config.

Yeah I couldn't get the activation to work last night for some reason. Finally got it working this morning, yay, Sam'n'Max goodness!
