I'm stuck working out how to prove the women's leg was burned by DeSinge's Acid. What do I do?

it is at the club, if you look the skull with the candle on it on a table, you will notice how the wax falls to the floor, you need to be near the table, and then use the empty glass with it

Mix the iron from the defective image toy that Stan throws away into the bowl of cat food. Next, get the magnetic monkey from in front of the marquis' place (use the hook on the cage). Then, in the trial, use the monkey on the cat while questioning the guy as an witness

2. get a volcano drink
3. use the cups to get:
a. the luquid from desinge his lab
b. the liquid at the docks
c.liquid at the glass house
d. liquid near the entrance of club41

throw one of these on the glass shoe at the glass blower; )

I am stuck on the leg puzzle myself. I have the cups, the leg, and have filled all of the cups with mix ingredients found around Flotsam Island. All but the hot wax found in Club 41, that is, but I do not have a free cup to use. I feel silly for asking, but this is the first time that I have been legitimately stuck in Tales of Monkey Island. Is it a glitch, or is there a way to empty another cup?

You get 6 liquids, Volcano Shot, Acid Desinge, Manatee Oil, Molten Glass, Bacon Grease Oil and Molten Wax from the skull lamp. You need only two of them to use on the leg though - Acid from Desinge and the Molten Wax. (Red+Blue=Purple)

I have Volcano Shot (Obviously), Acid DeSinge, Bacon Grease Oil, Manatee Oil, and Molten Glass (which I refilled after using to first acquire the leg). Using Molten Glass on the leg after it has been added to your inventory appears to reset the puzzle, but does not empty the Molten Glass cup. Hence, I do not have a free cup to use for the Molten Wax.

You do have a free cup. You get six of them, not 5. The moltenglass never gets empty.

Same problem here, only 5 cups with no way of getting the wax

same problem here! ihave only 5 cups and all are filled (one with the volcan thing, the glass molted (or something like that lol i don't speak english), the grease, the manatee oil, and the acid taken at desinge house. I can "unfill" any of them, or combine them to get one unfilled, no way to get the candle wax, :(

No one else has had a problem making the shape of the burn on the lamp leg into a skull? That's the last thing I have to do, I think. I can't find a way of changing the shape of the burn.

Seems like a awkward problem imo, you get 5 empty cups and 1 filled with volcano shot.
But it's kind of "early in the game" so speed-run on a fresh new game?

I can't seem to get the eye to photo right. I can either use the eye when they're not mad or I can get them mad, but have no option to say "use the eye now!"

Any suggestions? Is there a place I need to place the eye so it will be ready to snap 'em when they go into a rage? The cups have been used so I can't, say, dye the eye red. And there's nobody even talking casually that I could catch them as they're talking...

Please don't tell me the direct answer if you would. Hints please. Preferably, who I'm targeting (it's either the glass blower or the bailiff I'm pretty sure since they're sick) and if I use the eye or triggering it with a dialogue tree choice.

Darn! stumbled into a spoiler that told me.

Hint for those having an issue with this. Don't try and leave anything 'til last "just for dramatic effect" Just try everything!! :P Yes, that is how I play the game: to maximize the drama - otherwise it's just plain boring "click and click" and not really "click and Play"

More direct hint: The person was none of the people I thought it was. Further, they are triggered by dialogue to stay enraged long enough to use the eye.

For the 5 Cups issue, I don't think you need all of them. You just need the right contents to do the job. (Although you SHOULD have enough cups to get all the options available.)

No, I finally gave up on it last night after several hours of fiddling with everything in sight. I may have to start a fresh saved game today. It is not often that I run into a game halting glitch in a Telltale game.

Okay, I restarted the game about an hour ago, and just now advanced beyond the Cup Bug. To be on the safe side, if you already filled a cup with Molten Glass, and used it to acquire the Leg Lamp, do NOT fill a second cup with Molten Glass. This time around, I used Hot Grease on the Leg Lamp, and the cup remained.

In any case, even if you encounter this bug, you will be fine so long as you remember to acquire the Hot Wax and Mysterious Caustic Fluid in one of the remaining cups. These two ingredients (next to Volcano Shot, which is always in your inventory) are all that you really need to complete the puzzle, anyway.

Just keep trying... eventually you will find out which two of the liquids forming a skull shape.
