In the intro, the game starts to stutter when the voodoo lady shows the 3rd tarot card. Unfortunately, it stays this way the whole game...

System: windows XP Home 5.1
AMD Athlon 64 processor 3500+ MMX 3DNow ~2.2Ghz
1024 Mb RAM

Direct X 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904).

Soundblaster Live! 24-bit
P17.sys
5.12.0001.0314

Any ideas how to fix it?
Help is greatly appreciated!

updated driver soundblaster to:

5.12.0001.0514 (6/15/07)

Still exact same problem unfortunately

yay, a 'clean reboot' worked!
