how do i get this "25% off" the main page speaks of?

It seems like you're right. I tried going over 25$, or chose gifting the item if it's essential, but no discount in checkout. There must be an error or an unspesified circumstance you have to go through. Either way, it has to be fixed.

I was kind of hoping to get 25% off the giant order of Sam & Max stuff I was going to get, but I figured since I'm making a donation with it that wouldn't be very nice. :I

EDIT: apparently it's working and applying the discount now, and you can donate just fine without it being deducted so yay!
