tales dvd activation?

Hi I thinking of getting Tales of Monkey Island on dvd when it comes out and I was just wondering if it'd be similar to the other dvds I've heard of from telltale where all you need to do is have the disc in the drive instead of activating it. Is that still going to be the case? Thanks?

At this time, I think the mode of activation is still being discussed for the Monkey Island DVD, so we don't really have an answer for you yet. Sorry :(

Would be a nice move if you could remove the DRM alltogether for the DVD Version. Consider it, please.

If you have to activate it online it kind of ruins the point of having a DVD backup.

Please say it is only a disc check or I will regret purchasing.
