Sam & Max Devil's Playhouse preorder deal freebies??

I preordered Sam & Max when it was first announced only to now find that the preorder package has changed and includes a bunch of stuff while the price tag is still the same. Why don't people who preordered before this get these as well? It's still a preorder after all? It only seems fair that people who were quicker in preordering should be in on the same deal.

Not sure what you're talking about as the "goodies" are still the ones that I got when I preordered the game on March 11.

According to the game's order page (http://www.telltalegames.com/store/samandmax-season3), the preorder bonuses are:

"A coupon for a free game episode!
Access to an exclusive private forum!
Avatars, Wallpaper, and more downloadable goodies!"

In my preorder confirmation e-mail, I got:

A link to an exclusive private forum:

"1.) You get access to a private forum where you can chat with the team that makes Sam & Max games possible. Join the discussion by clicking here."

A coupon for a free game episode:

"2.) You get a coupon code good for one free Telltale episode:

***-***-***-***

Enter the code in your cart to get your free game! This coupon code is valid now through December 31, 2010."

And a notice about future goodies:

"3.) You'll get additional goodies and discounts as the third Sam & Max season gets underway. We'll talk about those a bit later; stay tuned!"

Well I didn't get any of those so it seems you are. I pre-ordered it before they even sent out emails and I didn't get the email you mention and ergo no forum, no free episode etc. If all this was in an email ... very odd since my spam filter is off.

Did you get an e-mail confirming your order (with a title like "Confirmation for Telltale Games order ***************")?
If yes, it's all in there.
If not, you should e-mail Telltale at support@telltalegames.com

And no MacFly77, I didn't get a single email after ordering it which worried me a bit since I always got an email before - I own every series on Telltale and bought tons of extras (like the drinking vessel now) but I only got a Paypal email after paying this time. Very odd but at least it's fixed now :) Thanks again David E.

I just preordered Sam & Max Devil's Playhouse today, and no confirmation e-mail with special goodies for me either. I suspected this may have been due to an outdated e-mail address (I'm not sure though, but I went and changed it just in case). Regardless, I got a paypal confirmation of the payment as well as the games in my cart now.

Is there any way I can get access to the forum and the free Telltale game?
