Holy jeez! Check out what Majus has been up to (in addition to helping us make video games which we have been known to do from time to time).

FIND IT OUT
Huh, I don't remember Max having a Speedy Gonzales accent before... Though the guy he got to voice Sam does sound like the guy from the LucasArts day, so I guess it balances out.

Yay, Majus! Dude I'm so pumped for the game now!
Also I love how Skun'kape was a nerd growing up. Reminds me of a comic book origins story gone wrong.

Oh Skunkape, what an angry fellow!! Don't we all have a little bit of that nerd inside us all :-)
I know I have my moments of raging on top of a mountain side.

Ow, it’s online, finally, now I can spill the beans!
Hey guys! What’s up? Only two days to go! Hooray! Then Skunkape will arrive! What a guy. I wonder how he became Skunkape anyway!! So we did some nightmarish research (http://geekofalltrades.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/zardoz.jpg) (yes, nightmarish, I MEAN IT, you’ve been warned), and produced this fun backstory! Woahey! It’s a flashmovie!! Damn!! Awesome!! Yeah!!
*pant* *pant*
Oh, Shaun already told you about it?
Ah, allright then...
Take care, have fun!

So Majus, are you gonna be doing flash videos for each new episode release like you did for Tales?
Kroms
04/13/2010, 10:01 pm
Haha, that was pretty good. I wonder how much is speculation and how much Majus already knows.
I wrote a backstory for Skunkape out of boredom the other day - I'll see if I can find the notebook and put up a transcript for your amusement. I named him Aperaham, wrote out a huge backstory where he thought Africa was a different planet to the rest of Earth, lost his parents, read On the Origin of Species, decided apes were the superior race, did a bunch of stuff, got accepted into a galactic alliance, ruled the planet and came back to rule the earth as nature intended it. It was pretty long, and I ended it with creating a Facebook profile (I made my own version of Facebook using basic HTML).
I remember laughing a bit, and the one or two friends who read it thought it was amusing. You guys might like it. I will have to post the backstory later today.
But even more yeah, I love this, Majus! Sorry to jack the thread like that.

I transcribed it, but there were a couple of words Max said that I couldn't catch, and I'm not to certain of the German.
Max: I got it! I got...
Sam: Yes? Yes? Oui? Si? Da? Ja? Nein, es gibt keinen Schnitzel!
Max: Who was it?
Sam: That was our affectionate yet surly boss the Commissioner, Max, with some vital information about an intergalactic primate.
Max: Do you know when you're [???], your nostrils shudder like a burly narwhal?
Narrator: And here he is: Arthur J Thompson. Arthur had a terrific childhood. But reading silly comic books made him daydream a lot. How rude! Luckily, his father knew exactly how to raise that little punk. And in school, he quickly made friends. What a lucky kid.
Teacher: Quiet! Hmph!
Narrator: And later, he found a brilliant job, full of surprises.
Boss: You're fired.
Narrator: And so, Arthur J Thompson became General Skun-ka'pe, willing to fulfil his prophecy. Finding the mightiest toys in the galaxy, to become the most powerful ape! Ever! And his next station on his way to glory is PLANET EARTH!
Announcer: Yay! Skunkape visits Earth! What exactly is he up to? Probably bringing us a message of peace and love! Find it out on April 15th in the first episode of the Devil's Playhouse: The Penal Zone! A game by Telltale.

Just going by how the game spells it. I think.
This discrepancy brings up two major possibilities. Either Skun'kape and Skun-ka'pe are two different people in a shocking twist, or Skun'kape is easier to remember and type.

Yes. Acording to word reference (Because, looks like it's an Mexican Eupherism, because in at least Chile is not used) Ándale is a way of incite an action from another person. It's like, if you say something about do something, I can tell you "Ándale" as a way of saying "Do it" or "I wanna see it". (In Chile we use the word "Dale". It's the same =P)

Comes from "Andar" though. Which is a verb. Sometimes, when we going to do something together, we use "andando" which is the same, but for "we".
