Al Emmo - problem with removing inventory item from cursor

I think I must be completely dense. The help says to right click (I assume with the inventory window open - and, yes, I've tried it with the window closed, too) to replace item back in inventory. It doesn't work. I am in the saloon and still have the sodding flyer as my cursor, which means I cannot walk anywhere.

How do I remove the sodding thing? :mad: :confused:

Just to rule this out as a possibility:

Are you sitting on the stool at the bar?

I think Mel's on the right track - if you're on the stool, you need to use the hand icon to get down off the stool first. This tripped me up several times (and the first time was right after I got that flyer).

I did the same thing. :D I couldn't understand why I couldn't go anywhere and I had to be told as well.
