Getting into mama Bosco's: Bug?

I was able to get into mama Bosco's, but I think I didn't do it the right way and to me, it appeared to be a bug.
I noticed two strange things:
1) For my first try, I selected Max to teleport to the COPS (so it should have been next to the car in front of the office, as I came to mama Bosco's by teleportation and not by car), but max appeared just outside of mama Bosco's.

2) Then I went to the roof, and I was starting to understand what I was supposed to do... From here, I teleported to mama Bosco's and Sam was kicked out of the building. Without moving Sam, I teleported Max and the gorilla to Stinky's cell phone. But as I didn't move Sam, Max should have appeared just outside the building. Instead, Sam had automagically moved to the top of the building, and I solved the puzzle. But I think the right way would be to move Sam alone at the Building's top BEFORE teleporting Max.

Is it a bug or did I miss the logic of the puzzle?

P.S. Sorry if there is already a post on the subject. As I didn't finish the game yet, I didn't want to read all the titles of the forum to avoid spoiling the fun...

1) Not sure what you're trying to tell us.
2) Yeah, that's a bug.

For 1), What I mean is that I selected Bob's phone number for my first test. The DeSoto was parked in front of S&M building, so that is where Max and the gorilla should have materialized. But instead, they both appeared next to Sam, in front of Mama Bosco's building.

Basically, if you teleport everywhere, no matter where with Max while he's traped by the gorilla the gorilla will back and deliver Max to Sam

You get a special cutscene though if you teleport them to the Mole Processing Center ;).

It's a bug that's addressed in some other threads. If you teleport into Momma Bosco's lab from the top of the roof, because of a parameter bug, game thinks Sam is still on the roof. Therefore it kind of solves itself.
