I just took out the 2 guards at momma bosscos, found the ring there, found a torn receipt in the space ship but have no idea what to do now.

I tried but all the items I have sams gun, stinkys cell phone, remote control, receipt, engagement ring, mysterious note Nothing combos in t he crimetron to give me a new location to go to.

I have hints set to high and Sam keeps saying something like skunkape had to of left behind a forwarding address or phone number but I can't find it.

Ok so I'm talking to him I get to the point where max gets angry and grampa stinky is holding him off with his hand, I take it I need to teleport max someplace. But when I tried to move sam by himself max follows so I can't be stinkys cell phone at some key location like those guards.

You NEED to get a grip on that badge of Grandpa Stinky.
Did you try going into the mole processing room?
I love how Stinky's cellphone can work as a teleportation savepoint. You don't even have to keep it in your inventory to do so!
Can you find a way to apart Grandpa Stinky from his... inventory?

There's a place in Skun-ka'pe ship that probably will help you
Remember what's happened with the first moleman?
What's happen in the room of processing molemen with your items?
Specially where's Stinky Cellphone after that?
That could happen with some else items. Except Max's of course

Ok, enter to the Molemen Procesing Room. After that teleport to Stinky's and then teleport back to the Procesing Room with Grampa Stinky by dialing Stinky's Cellphone, which must be still at the ship. Appart of the Beacon you must obtain the clue you need
