View Full Version : Sam & Max on the GC 2006??

hi!
i got a question: will Sam&Max be on the Games Convetion in Leipzig (Germany)?

actually i doubt it, because there is no publisher for Sam&Max (telltale will publish the game by themself, right?) - but maybe i'm wrong... :(

well i'm going anyway because of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - i'm waiting soo long for this game and now i can play it... :D

allow me to answer you an unofficial, yet probably correct answer - No

why?
a) telltale is an american based company
b) telltale is yet a small company
c ) right now, telltale plays in quite a niche market.
d ) the Liepzig show has mostly european game companies (and some of the big players). and not considered as a major gaming event in the U.S. (tough it is a really great event - been there 3 years ago, while visiting the IFA show in berlin)

You didn't get an answer because I've been out of town. ;)

There is a small possibility someone from Telltale will be there (I'm not sure if it's been decided yet), but even if that happens I wouldn't expect a big Sam & Max presence. When I find out for sure, I'll let you know.

I would love to go to this conference someday. Last year it seemed like a really good conference for adventure games.

well, also if there won't be anything big about sam&max or if telltale will be only in the backrooms (you know...where the press can look around a bit...) that would be cool, 'cause my dad is a journalist and so this would be my ticket to this back rooms...

Awww, oh well, the Wii isn't playable for the general public either, so I can just follow it through the good ol' Intarweb.
