Sorry for jumping on a bandwagon of creating totally unnecessary separate threads but i'm pissed off that once again the game requires totally unnecessary SSE2 processor instructions. It's even a 2D game. I don't want to play in on a lap or on different computer. I just don't. That just shows how much they really listened to the fans critics after the first game. And Craig Derrick can say whatever he wants.

Screw you Lucas Arts!

It's a 2D game but uses similar methods for rendering the HD graphics that 3D games use. It's understandable, really. Not unnecessary at all.

And once again I'd like to remind everyone that SSE2 was released with Pentium 4 and the Monkey Island SEs have Pentium 4 (3 GHz) as the minimum requirement. If you meet the requirements, it will work. I believe only some budget P4s don't have SSE2 capability, but then of course you won't meet the 3 GHz requirement.
