Well, to be perfectly honest, I only had enough money for a book after buying the graphics card. It was sort of like that Christmas story where the wife sells her hair to buy her husband a fob watch chain and the husband sells his watch to buy her a comb.

But all the games I already own look much better now that they can be played in a higher resolution. And when I eventually get Starcraft 2, it will look gorgeous. :D

The last thing I purchased was a five gallon bucket of paint in the color Sandstone Cove, which is basically white with a very slight red hue to it. We'd run out of our first bucket and I was sent on a paint run. That was...Sunday? I also picked up a roll of painting tape and a pack of dust masks on that trip.

Today we started painting the main color on the house (Amazon Moss) and finished up the first of three buckets. It's looking really nice. Also, today my grandpa picked up 8 more rolls of various tapes for us on his way over, so that's the last thing he purchased. I think we just might have enough tape now.

One that was originally for the Xbox and is on XBLA is Psychonauts, if you don't have it. I can honestly say that it is a very good game.

Portal: Still Alive is just Portal with the Flash Version map pack (available free on the PC (http://portalmaps.wecreatestuff.com/)), so it's a ripoff.

I'd suggest Castle Crashers (and the DLC if you're into that kinda crap :V)

Really? I've had two so far, and with both I've purposely tried to scratch them with keys, scissors, glass etc. and not got any marks whatsoever. The only downside I've experienced is that it started to get a yellowish tinge after a little over a year.

Arrived today. It's of pretty bad quality. The ends aren't tied off or taped off so I need to fix that so it doesn't unravel. Plus midway it's coming off a bit, so I need to tape that down too.

Plus the actual quality of the rope seems to be of medium to lower medium quality.
Eh, but 33 feet of rope for $8 + free 2day shipping is what I expected. But apparently the rope is suppose to go for about $30, which if I paid that much for I'd have been upset.

My latest purchase was a can of monster energy drink and a bag of peanuts to stave off tiredness/starvation respectively. It actually made me pretty ill, though, and possibly even more tired.

I love the marketing spiel on the back of Monster drinks.. this one says "Banzai! Monster Ripper... a radical 'Juice Monster' hybrid with explosive flavour and the big bad Monster buzz you will love!". I used to know a few skater people who soaked up Monster drinks and their marketing campaigns thinking they were being extreme, rad and groovy (and whatnot). How can you fall for that if you're over the age of 12? Same goes for Relentless. I always see people who are around 17/18 drinking Relentless because it's the drink of choice for metalheads, but that's only because the Coca Cola company saw them as a growing demographic. That's so pro-establishment, brah! You're just giving money to the narcs! You fools! You fools!!

@Feaklis: I remember the first and last time I tried monsters. I was at a skate demo and it was sponsored by Monster. It looked like they were charging $1 for their big cans. I still decided that wasn't worth it. It turns out the guy charging for them was just some random guy they forced off the area and that they monsters were to be free. That night I had atleast 3 of each of them[well of the 3 flavors they had]. They all tasted bad to me. But, they were free so I kept drinking. I think in total of that night I had like 16? Let's just say I was pumped to skate untill the crash. A week past that night I've had some of my friend's and it was the last time I had one. They still taste bad, and are too expensive.

Anyway, I'm 8 floors up. There's a turnstile out front that needs a housing key for it to unlock, a main door that also needs that, and then a third door that needs that. The main dorm area room of mine is always locked by design, and then within that my bedroom door is generally kept locked but I noticed I hadn't locked or shut it this morning. The windows can't open, either, so there's no locking involved.

I kinda got the episodes at different points, I used a Free episode Token on two of them and bought the rest at different times, so, the only discount I could get was the Season Upgrade one, if I tried to apply anything else it just kept giving me the Season Upgrade + DVD, so went with that, because I might as well get Season 2 on DVD if I have Season 1 and Season 3 on it's way.

Actually, I've had them downloaded for years, and I actually really enjoy those albums. Sure, they aren't up to the same standard as AFD or the UYI albums, but they sure beat anything that Velvet Revolver produced (except for maybe 'Slither'), and they're miles better than 'The Spaghetti Incident?'.

Edit: I also think that I'd rate them better than his solo album, just.

Nah, he meant not having to use an RF jack and instead being able to use RCA, which can split the mono sound to multiple speakers. Also, while that is an issue with many older systems, it becomes far less of a problem if you replace the 72-pin connector. New ones are extremely cheap to buy and very easy to install. Also, keeping your carts protected and routinely cleaned can reduce the risk of this error.

I've got a front-loading NES, but most of the games I've got for it were bought from one of the stores in town that deals in retro stuff, they had a load of NES games in but none of them had boxes or slipcases, they were just loose in a box. I used to have to blow on them until I saw stars to get them to work, then I discovered compressed air cannisters.
