I don't know about you guys, but I'm constantly looking forward to something; whether that be an event, an album release, a game release, a film release, a television premiere, a package being shipped, an alien invasion etc. There is always something that I am waiting in anticipation for. I know for a fact that I'm not the only one, so, what are some of the things that you're looking forward to in the future.

By the way, it doesn't matter what it is, or how far away it is, just post it.

I am looking forward to a lot of things at the moment, I am waiting for the MI merchandise I ordered to arrive.
I am waiting for the Skulldurggery Pleasent Movie and the Uncharted Movie to be announced.
In games I am waiting for the Cataclysm Expansion, Divinity 2 - Flames of Vengeance Expansion, Guild Wars 2, Diablo 3, and Runic Games new online game.
I am also looking forward to next month when I will finally buy my HTC Desire.

Ohh and to be done with reading Cisco, it's really borring. :p

I think there was a bit more, but that is what I could think of at the top of my head.

This. I'm also looking forward to Rock Band 3. Actually, I'm also looking forward to several games that are already out but I don't have yet, like Super Mario Galaxy 2.

I'm also looking forward to Nan Desu Kan, from September 10th to the 12th in Denver. I'm going to be spending the next three weeks working my ass off on my BLU Spy costume, but it'll be worth it in the end.

Also, last year my friends and I spent the day before the con attempting to beat the Endless Setlist in Rock Band 2. We reached the second to last song and none of us could get past it, so we gave up after two hours of trying. I think we'r'e trying again this year, and I know I can clear it on hard bass now, so I'm looking forward to that as well.

So yeah, I'm going to have four spectacular days three weeks from now. Then not much.

Ahem...
Shipped August 2nd;
* Book of Grickle
* Monkey Island Art Portfolio
* Monkey Island Standard DVD
* Monkey Island Buttons Set #2
* Sam & Max Buttons

And I'm also waiting for my order that just got sent to the warehouse to ship...

* Comic Con '92 T-Shirt
* Monkey Island Drinking Vessel
* Monkey Island Buttons Set #1
* Gnome T-Shirt
* Season Two Case File

I got these both within a week of each other, but unfortunately for me both orders had backordered stuff in them. Luckily, they didn't ship at the same time, so I have stuff to mess around with until my other order arrives.

I'm pretty sure I've bought 95% of the stuff possible to buy from the Telltale Store, and even stuff that you can't buy anymore.

I went through my receipts and stuff and it turns out I've spent over $1000 on Telltale stuff + shipping :o !

I'm looking forward to Doctor Who: The Adventure Games: Episode Three: TARDIS. Episode Two improved on episode one, so I'm hoping they keep the trend up on the third episode.

The first two games are flawed, but fun. If they manage to improve upon the voice acting and have more variety in the puzzles, the third episode could turn out to be a great game. :) Plus, being able to pilot the TARDIS sounds like fun all on its own. :D

Aaaaand boom, hit the very first showing today. So worth it. The new scenes did a good job of filling in the minor plot details, and didn't feel tacked on at all. Perfect seats, too, so my experience wasn't ruined by cellphone light and sitting to the side this time. Only issues were that I haven't slept in a long time, so I dozed off once or twice, and the sound was FAR too loud. The Thanator chase actually caused physical pain to my ears.

- Beyond Good & Evil 2 (have I already mentioned this?)
- Torchlight 2 (I'm expecting big things this time around)
- The announcement of a ToMI season 2 (it will come one day)
- Duke Nukem Forever (even though I probably won't buy it, I'm just looking forward to all of the hype)
- Guns N' Roses ending the Chinese Democracy World Tour and going back into the studio (I pray that it won't take another 14 years to release another album)

I'm now very much looking forward to Motorhead's new album, 'The World Is Yours', even more-so now that it has a release date (December 14)! Their last four albums have been some of the best in their entire catalogue (in my opinion), and have rivaled, if not beaten, their 'classic' albums such as 'Ace of Spades', 'Bomber', etc. which didn't appeal to me all that much anyway. Too bad the last four albums have sold extremely poorly due to SPV's lazy, crappy promotion. Hopefully they won't be neglected as much by their new label - EMI.

But then you will have the next visit to look forward to!

I originally typed out something about how I'm not looking forward to Christmas at all, since I'll be stuck in London without family. Thinking about it though, I've changed my mind. There's the Christmas markets (in Germany if I want!), the penny arcade in Hyde Park, the lights on Oxford Street, the December parties, the cruisy days in the office, the Christmas lunch with friends. And, of course, the best thing of all about Christmas in the UK - the Doctor Who special! :D

Indeed! But I'm still not looking forward to Christmas, only to stuff happening either before or after it :p
Also, we haven't planned the next visit yet, because Sean will be out of vacation days for a long time, and I still don't know when I'll be able to make it there...
Hopefully it won't be too long! And then I'm spending at least a month in the US, and that's going to be awesome :D Well, I'll miss Ian. But for the next few years, I'll have to miss at least one of the two most of the time, so better get used to that ;)

Long-term-wise, I'm looking forward to becoming a resident, moving to BC, getting a license, getting a job, and a bunch of other stuff.

But wait, there's more: I heartily enjoyed the first Saw game, and now I also look forward to getting my grubby nubbies on the sequel. *hangs head in shame*

I saw it a couple years ago when it came out here. It was absolutely brilliant.

I saw it in San Francisco for my 21st birthday, and it was excellent. I loved everything about it (the vendors were hilarious) and even though it was John O'Hurly as Arthur instead of Tim Curry as it was on Broadway it was still a blast. It's going to be playing in York in the near future and I'm seriously considering shelling out the quid to see it again.

Oh good, this has been revived. I've been tempted to do so a couple of times, but, as creator of the thread, I figured it would be considered bad form.

Anyway, things I'm looking forward to:

1. Rush's 'Clockwork Angels' (only two days away!)
2. 'Torchlight II', even more-so now that it actually has an approximate scheduled release.
3. The Double Fine Adventure, as long as it doesn't disappoint all of our gargantuan expectations.
4. The next episode of 2Player's Double Fine documentary, as the first two have already been highly enjoyable and immensely interesting.
5. 'Star Wars 1313', but since it's LucasArts at the helm (and with LucasArts being in its current state), it's easy to see this project disappointing me greatly.
6. The day LucasArts pulls its head out of its arse, gets itself back into shape, and starts making some good decisions and decent products, though this could be a while yet.
7. The day Telltale are given the go-ahead for another season of 'Tales of Monkey Island.' (Probably won't happen until '6.' happens.)
8. 'The Walking Dead: Starved for Help.' I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the first episode, and believe that it marked a return to form for a fallen-from-grace Telltale. So yeah, I'm really looking forward to the next installment.
9. 'Beyond Good & Evil 2.' My interest has been re-ignited by the recent screenshots and environment video that were released, and also the news that Ancel's focus has shifted back onto the project full-time, and development is now full steam ahead. Excitement all-'round.

But not a word on E3, right? I'm really not so sure about this project after Ancel's ludicrous "present hardware limits my creativity" nonsense. Also, the environment video the screenshots were taken from is age-old already. It's just that the high res version was released some weeks ago.
