Allright, so I know a few of the telltalers are going to be attending Pax, and I know we are gamers, and I know we get hungry.

So this is my plan to have a community dinner at Pax.

This is the plan so far.

The Dinner Kells

Time&Date. Friday Sept 3rd @8pm

Price Will probably be 10 dollars with that includes food and drink.

The Plan: To meet up at the door, get seated, order food, and have a blast.

Also this doesn't go for just the people attending Pax, oh no this goes to the telltalers in the seattle area too.

So with all that said, who may be able to come and eat, and game?

Also, yay! But I doubt most people want to be streamed eating. Pictures and tales would be sufficient.

I *HIGHLY* suggest you choose a place further away from the convention center than Gameworks. Every time I've been to PAX, the line at Gameworks has consistently been out the door and around the corner. Otherwise, it sounds like a good idea.

I am coming too, and will probably bring another Telltale fan (maybe two). :)

Friday at 8pm sounds perfect. Gameworks is fun, but it is true that it might be too crowded since it is so close to the convention center.

If you guys are thinking about eating somewhere else, an idea would be going to Capitol Hill, which is a bit of a walk, but not too far. There is a really cool sandwich shop called Honey Hole, and nearby are Bauhaus Coffee, Stumptown Coffee, and Molly Moon (great ice cream!).

There is also Red Fin sushi. It is a bit more pricy, but it is at Hotel Max, so it's something to consider. ;) We can also order some plates to share, so it might not be too bad. I also know a few other places, but some of them are 21+ and I am not sure if everybody here is over 21.

I am open for anything. I live in Seattle, so let me know if you need any help to make reservations or anything else. :)

I would like to come, although I can't if there are age restrictions (probably not) and the fact I ABSOLUTLY can't come. I've already been abroad, we don't have the money right now etc. Oh well. I'll just dream about hanging out with you guys for now. :D

Well we can save a spot for you, we saved one for Avistew, who also can't make it.

As for food, I am not picky I can go for a good ol american cheeseburger and still be happy, also another Idea I had.

Is we all meet by the exhibit all before it closes and meander and scout for good places to eat.

Meeting there would be fine, but depending on where we are going, we should probably make a reservation (especially if we have a big group).

Mh, so... I wasn't sure if I should say it here or in the other PAX thread (or at all, really), but just so you know, I'm still riding for 20 hours on a bus.
I'm just stopping at the border (or rather, close to the border, that is, Vancouver) and not crossing to the US.

I'll be arriving on Sunday at noon, so as you leave PAX, if you could wave in my direction or something... that would be nice :p

I would expect more people to show up than the 7 you've written down, though. How are you going to get a reservation without being sure who will be there?
I mean it's a con, you should probably expect to run into people who will want to join you and stuff like that.

I have also heard that Telltale does not have a booth this year. Can anybody confirm that they will be there? If not, we need to change our meeting spot. :)

Actually, this thing (http://www.destructoid.com/telltale-games-is-bringing-a-delorean-time-machine-to-pax-182573.phtml) that says Telltale's bringing a DeLorean reckons it will be at booth #3509. Which is labelled as Lego Systems on the expo hall map. Which confuses me greatly. Which means I'm going to stop thinking now and just let other people figure it out for me.

Booth #3509! We got moved at the last minute or something, which is why it isn't on the map. Alternatively, you could meet at the Delorean, which I don't think is on the show floor (meaning you can meet there even after the floor is closed).

That's a good idea. Is everybody OK with meeting at the Delorean? Since we don't have to meet before the floor closes and our reservation is at 8pm, we can even probably meet a bit later than 6:45pm.

How does 7:15pm by the Delorean sound? We should have more than enough time to make it there. :)

Just looked at the menu. Out of interest, is the "side of baked chips" actually what we call over here crisps (the packeted thin crispy potatoe slices that come in various flavours)? When I went to france, we ordered a side-order of chips, and got crisps, and more than a bit dissapointed. (Crisps aren't something you generally get as side-orders over here, so the thought didn't cross my mind)

Well as it turns out, there will be another one next year, and only a few slight changes will happen such as, throwing in together to pay the bill as a whole.

Also a new restaurant, maybe something more. I've definetly started planning it though, so keep news towards March and or April for full details.

I was at the dinner in spirit, and right behind Shaun (next to the DeLorean) as he filmed that video. I arrived shortly before everyone made their way to the Hard Rock Cafe, where I did partake in the festivities. So much fun!
