Help Sam and Max won't Launch Correctly

Every time I launch Sam and Max: Culture Shock it makes it to the login screen where an error message comes up:

Both yes and no just causes it to sit at the login screen without a launch option. Please Help I just bought this today!

I just realized I posted this in the wrong section...crap.

Game's launcher/login window is coded on Internet Explorer, so correcting your copy of Internet Explorer generally does the trick. If you don't have the latest IE, try updating your copy from internet. If you do have, you may find reinstalling IE a worthy attempt.

Now it just launches to a blank screen, but the IE installer said that I should restart so I'm going to try that.
