Okay I got featherly to lay the egg and have corndogs, however i am unable to get satan to go away so i can get the vegetable oil anyone have any ideas?

Come on, that's the easiest one! You didn't notice that Satan drops the microphone when you tell him he's got a bald spot? What do you have in your inventory that is shaped similarly to a microphone? Think about it!

I need help with the egg, figured out how to get everyone to not watch but Superball, any tips? As far as the vegetable oil notice what Satan does while he's talking, waving something around maybe?

It's a math puzzle. They all need to be not looking for the tiniest of fractions of a second.

I'm stuck right now, I keep trying to talk to sybil but everytime I do Sam says something in his head to make her mad. I'm trying ot get the cockroach off the top of the shelf thing but even when i turn into that cylinder thing and bump into it nothing happens what should I do?

To knock down Sam Jr:

You'll need to use a transformation for this one

Turn into the vacuum by examining the wires

Now you'll need to knock it down by force...

Just ram into the shelf as the vacuum

It's not related with the solution. Actually, I guess records are not related with any puzzles.
You need someone resisting radioactivity and being able to read. It doesn't mean you have to make use of someone inside already
Yes, you need to be able to use Max's legs and feet to solve this puzzle
You might also want to go back to the stomach and click around stuff. That corndog really looks suspicious.

Almost the last puzzle of the game. If you're not there yet, STOP RIGHT HERE. Max needs to be crying for you to escape through his tear ducts (well, that's what Sam assumes, anyway), and only the story about the bear does it.

Well, none of the recordings really worked and there were no hints, so I shot at flying Max and then suddenly he started to cry

Take a good look at Stinky's corn dog ingredients list.
What haven't you put into the puddle?
Hm, corn meal. Big truck of it over there. Little big to lift, though.
Is there anyone big enough to lift it in the vicinity? Someone who reacts to you waving a corn dog around?
Once you eat the corn dog, he'll just drop it where it stands. Or, at least, where YOU stand...
Perhaps move closer to the hole?
Okay, so how about the wiener (or facsimile thereof). Have you talked to Sybil about the changes she made to the DeSoto?

You need corn meal.
Don't forget you can use items in your inventory DIRECTLY. You need to do that.
And Max loves his corn dogs. Go figure.

The top ingredient is the Desoto itself, you'll also use the same tactic you used to get corn meal to include Desoto in your yummy meal.

Go to your inventory. Hover your cursor on corn dogs, but don't click. See the little green toy right below the magnifying glass? Click it. This way, you can use corn dogs to attract Max.

It's Cthulhu Max, obviously. As I said, you have to use a corn dog to attract him, wave it at him when you're near the van so that he can pick up the van, and eat the corn dog so that he drops it in the large hole.

Max. You need Max to move the corn meal.

Okay, step-by-step detailed instructions:

1. Walk up to the truck and "activate" a corn dog.
2. Wave it around. Max should grab the truck.
3. Walk to the puddle.
4. Eat the corn dog. Max should shake the truck in frustration, knocking the corn meal into the puddle.
5. Repeat with DeSoto.

You do not need the balloons. Try to pick up the cables on the floor. After this run into the shelves repeatedly, depending on your run up it'll take 3 - 10 goes to get the roach

hi, i figured out how to get the egg from mr featherly and have got into giant max, also i've got his legs to work, i'm now stuck on getting his arms to work, i know astral projection has something to do with the solution but i can't access max's powers, also i can't go into the arm room, i also need flaming max's help but have no idea what to do, some help would be appreciated, usually i would use a walkthrough to help me out a bit but none exist yet

You theories are wrong.
I'm assuming The arm room is flooded with radiation?
In which case:
What creature do we know of that is impervious to radiation? Perhaps a cockroach (especially since our roach Sam Jr. tells us this. Unfortunately he cannot read so he is no use.

But wait dont we know another cockroach?, One who was lurking around Momma Bosco's? If only Max would eat him.

Go to the stomach and use Sam Jr. on the craving platter, Max will now want to eat cockroaches. Go into max mode and walk over to Bosco Tech, Sal is there and as Max is craving cockroaches he will be eaten up allowing Sam to ask him to control the arms.

First things first, you need to get to Flint.
Have you revealed the obstacle in the way?
Use the fog machine to show the lasers.

Next, you'll need to get Skunkape to come down
It seems as though he's really interested in the toys
Perhaps the projector might help?
Have you checked your inventory for anything that might work?
Swap the photo of the toybox for the photo of the cake

Now that Skunkape's down, you'll need to strike a deal with him.
I think he might be scared about that bomb...
Once you have the destroyer, you can use one of the tunnels.
Use the right tunnel to head to Boscotech Labs.

I don't remember that... The only four locations you need to find in the entire episode are:
Boscotech Labs (All the lights coming from it)
Battery Park (East side of the city)
Skunkape's Ship (Flying around)
Cloning Chamber (Just east from where you start)

They are all pretty easy to find...

There is 6 memories.

1) Inaccessible "city slide" that is there before you do anything
2) Battery Park - unaccessible
3) Momma Bosco's - can access but can't do anything
4) Skunkape's Ship - a must for the story
5) Cloning Chamber - Only available after you complete the ship segment
6) Another "city slide" that you can't use. It's unlocked on the federation something or other block found pretty much exactly where max mode starts

The recording does work with the bear without shooting flaming max, i thought i had to shoot the flaming max because of this forum, when i played it again after completing it all i did was play the bear record and after max cried i escaped through the tear ducts with everyone else.

i figured it out now and have completed it twice, all you need to do is make everyone not pay attention to mr featherly and do it the order by the time they'll be occupied, the cops do a virus scan for about a minute and momma bosco is occupied when papierwaite and dr norrington leave for their dimension for 15 seconds, then its superball who turns around for 5 seconds, i never knew mr featherly would automatically lay the egg, i thought you needed to talk to him again afterwards which is why it took me so long the first time

One of them will get him crying if you give it long enough

shooting the flaming max is not the solution, playing the bear record is, cause all you need to do, after destroying the tentacle, is open the tear duct, use the bear record on the record player, then everything shakes cause max is crying, then just escape through the tear duct

Ok I need some hints here so I got into Max's body and i'm trying to control him but I don't know what to do. I know it probably has something to do with the records since one of them makes Junior Max cry and I can't take anything from the storage without Max turning you into a object.So I need some hints on that.

I need to get control of Max's arms.
I already got Sal onboard. But there is no option of conversation, there's just some generic dialog between him an Sam. How do I get him to control the arms? I tried using the small roach with the machine but Sam says he's not going to part with him.

Nope. Those are a RED HERRING. There's something else in the same room that you should go for... something rather Sal-like...... IT'S THE MINI COCKROACH.

If you look around the forum a bit you might find what you are looking for before posting.

This got me.

Have you looked around using Max's legs?
If so, you may have spotted a character...
Try heading towards the lights as Max
Once you find a familiar location and see a familiar character, head to the brain
One of the characters you see on the TV should be able to help you
If you want to get Sal on board, you'll need to convince Max he wants him
Wasn't there a place earlier showing something that Max wants?
It's the corn dog plate in the stomach
Do you have anything you could put there to make Max want to pick up Sal?
Swap the corn dog for Max Jr.

you can't make sal control the arms until you fail at it first, just go to the arms and help papierwaite by using the arcade machine and completing the puzzle, then you'll find the arm room filled with radiation, then get sal and talk to him, or if you've already got sal just talk to him and you'll be able to control the arms

Hmmm... you might want to try it one more time. I haven't actually got the trophy but I've played the PC version and seen the trophy requirements. I might try it myself in a bit.

No problem dude. Just wanting to know how to get Sal to the Arm room. Anyone? Please?
There might be other ways but I did it by solving the arm puzzle myself first. After that one of the Maimtrons got into the room and released radiation into the room which put Sam to sleep. From there I could ask Sal to go inside.

I did it again to no avail as well. I did record it this time though, so if there was something I should have heard but didn't we can find out as soon as the upload finishes (which is going to be in about 87 minutes of YouTube time).

It certainly seems that nobody using ps3trophies.org has managed to unlock it yet either. It's the only trophy without a known trophy image. (http://www.ps3trophies.org/game/sam-and-max-the-devils-playhouse-5/trophies/)

It is most annoying, and may well be worth raising in the support forum. If anything, the support team should know what's required to unlock it.Yeah, I know it's the only one left, because I was the one who submitted the images for the other 11 trophies. :p

Anyway someone on the forums there said they got it, they suggested waiting until Max finishes crying in between each section of the Inuit story. So I'm going to try that now.
EDIT: Either way, I'm going to be able to recite these things backwards by the time I get the trophy. :p

Okay it worked finally. The same person also edited in waiting around 30 seconds after the end of each track. I finally got it to unlock after listening to the second part of the Eli Whitney record.

It unlocks eventually I suppose, but it seems awfully picky.

If that is the case, that is much too picky. Obviously I'm still going through them too quickly.

Edit: Phew, finally. There is a slightly audible vinyl crackle at the end of each section, so maybe you really need to wait to hear that stop, but it's not very noticable.

Yeah, I'm not sure what to say. What I did was I watched my PS3, and once the HDD light finally stopped flashing like drunk college girls in front of a camera, I hit X to hear the next clip or Square to go to my inventory and put on a new record. Takes a while but it worked eventually.

Good to see that this is the case. :) Perhaps we can spread it around to Gamefaqs and to PS3 trophies? It might be helpful...

EDIT: I've posted this as a glitch on gamefaqs so hopefully it will get round...

i just got the destroyer robot and am still stuck in the clone chamber.
I tried going through the mole tunnels but sam still says that he doesn't have time to wander the tunnels.
I also didn't get the whole girl stinky taking skunkape for a ride messages (just the whole granite projection, fog, scam that flint was telling me about).
someone else suggested to just use the tunnels, being that i can't does that mean that im stuck on a bug?

First things first, you need to get to Flint.
Have you revealed the obstacle in the way?
Use the fog machine to show the lasers.

Next, you'll need to get Skunkape to come down
It seems as though he's really interested in the toys
Perhaps the projector might help?
Have you checked your inventory for anything that might work?
Swap the photo of the toybox for the photo of the cake

Now that Skunkape's down, you'll need to strike a deal with him.
I think he might be scared about that bomb...
Once you have the destroyer, you can use one of the tunnels.
Use the right tunnel to head to Boscotech Labs.

i still can't go through the tunnels even after getting the destroyer.
sam still says that this is no time to be wandering around mole tunnels

never mind.
apparently due to horrible camera angles, there are actually 3 tunnels, the left 2 (can only see one of them) don't allow me to walkthrough, but the right one does

its not meant to make sense, also in 205 he lays an egg and you use it in 204 due to time travel. We also don't have talking dogs, rabbits, moles, sentient bacteria, chickens, living statues, moia heads, also we can't drive to the moon, so a male chicken laying an egg isn't unlikely in that world.
