305 CTDNS: Controlling the arms

OK, this is probably very obvious, but I messed up.

When I first entered the arm room, Papierwaite and Yog-Soggoth started saying I needed to do something to tell them how to control the arms. I missed the instructions and can't figure out how to get them to tell me what to do again. Would anyone be able to tell me what the first step is?

There's a gaming machine on the left side of the room (I think it was blue, not sure, looks a little like Bluster Blaster). You have to read them the instructions from the screen. But Max's psychic powers interfere, so you have to find a way around it.
