View Full Version : Episode 5 Keeps Hanging during Act 4

I've been playing the Season 3 finale with no trouble up until this point, but just after Momma Bosco attempts to clone Max but fails and Sam walks off into one of the underground tunnels, the game just freezes.
This usually happens during the transition between locations (where the animated flaming max head appears). The flames animate briefly then stop and then the program no longer responds.
I have tried lowering the graphic detail completely (800x600, windowed, detail level 1) and this still does nothing.
Please help!

Well, you're not missing much after that, so don't worry too much.
Are you using the Steam or Telltale version?

Ah, I think I remember something, disable multicore, and then it might work.

No, I was also asking him that if it's the Steam version or not, sent the post before seeing yours q_q
To, yes, give the same answer, pretty much.

I mean there's no "gameplay" after that. Storywise you are missing a lot.

It's like saying "You shouldn't really celebrate your birthday. There is no difference, so it doesn't worth it. Well, except for the presents. And the cake. Those are like the whole fucking idea."

Hey thanks for replying...
I have the Telltale (non-Steam) version...
"TheGentleman" said I should disable multicore... ok... how?
Never had any problems like this before for any of the Telltale games...
