download ends at 4-5mb of 71mb

Hi,

I paid for Sam + Max 1 last night and got the file that you click on to download the 71mb program. Unfortunately at 4 to 5mb it says download complete. But, the file says it's corrupt when I try to install it. We have dialup and the speed was 4kbps. I tried about 3 times with no success. Do you think it's a speed issue?

My work computer has broadband. Can I try to download it on my work PC, then activate it at home? Naturally I don't want to be playing it at work.

Any help much appreciated.

The download stopping at 4-5 megs t's an annoying recurring problem. :( Some people have been able to get around it simply by trying again a few times and then it suddenly works. That's not very elegant, I know, but it's worth trying.

As for downloading it at work then bringing it home - of course you can! You should be able to take it home and install it, then click the "I've already purchased this" button and enter your order information. If that for some reason explodes (it shouldn't, but, you know, if it does), let me know and we'll fix you up.

Next question is which file or files do I need to bring from home it order to download it at work?

Just bring the setup file that the download manager gets for you. When you first run the download manager program, be sure to tell it to save your setup file somewhere easily accessible (it by default puts it in some crazy temp directory for some reason).
