I don't know about you guys, but with bands I like, sometimes my favourite songs from them are actually B-sides (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B-sides), meaning they weren't included on any of the band's albums, but rather as a bonus song on a single release. I've always found this strange because I think, well, if you're going to record a song of this quality, why make it a rarity? Why not put it on the actual LP?

But, nevertheless, I'm just happy that such a thing as B-sides exist, because so much great material can come from B-sides. So, onto the question, what are some of your favourite B-sides?

I started playing the keyboard just so I could play this song.

Perhaps you can now play keyboard along to Thom Yorke's new single (http://www.heraldsun.com.au/entertainment/radioheads-thom-yorke-records-silent-charity-single/story-e6frf96f-1225940760340)? It shouldn't be too challenging :D.

Anyway: One of my favourite B-sides is definitely Aerosmith's "Can't Stop Messin'". I used to listen to that song every day before school for about a year straight. I must admit I was a little shocked when I recently realized that the song was actually about sex and masturbation, among other things. But, heck, what should I have expected? It's Aerosmith!
