View Full Version : Poker + BttF = no discount?

It looks like the "preorder Poker Night to get 25% off" promotion doesn't work with Back to the Future. Is this intentional, or an error?

It is intentional.
Telltale promotions usually only work with games (or items) that were available BEFORE the promotion started.

According to this thread (http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20047), it did, but it wasn't supposed to and Telltale "fixed" it.

I was able to preorder BttF with the Poker-Game discount yesterday. But BttF did not show up in my list of games (only under "Stuff you Bought"). Because of that thing and because it was not intended to lower the preorder price with the Poker-Game discount, i am asking myself: Can i keep my BttF-purchase or what i have to do? :)

Because of that thing and because it was not intended to lower the preorder price with the Poker-Game discount, i am asking myself: Can i keep my BttF-purchase or what i have to do? :)
You should have no problem keeping the BTTF purchase.
I bought it on its own (i.e. with nothing else in the order except for the free Puzzle Agent) and it's not in my game list either.
It will probably "pop up" in the list once it's available, even though Poker Night in the Inventory is not available yet and has been in my game list since the day I bought it.

EDIT: It's confirmed in this thread (http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20065). It's probably due to the episodes not having titles yet.

If you're concerned about it just write to support@telltalegames.com and someone will clarify, but I suspect you'll be alright.
