Purchase from Romania - is it even possible ?

Hi !
I live in Romania and I tried to buy Sam and Max Episode 1, using a Mastercard debit card (from a local bank). The result ? "We were unable to process your order. Please verify your information and try again". I would like to know if it is possible to use debit card to pay from Romania - so I won't try in vain to buy the game...

Your address for the bank card account must match registration.
If the address is correct, you may try an alternative method.

Em... Frede? You know that Telltale tries as good as they can with the support? I think they're the best one out there on support, because I have never in my life experienced that quick of a response like they've put into it. I think they do an excellent job.

Regarding that issue, however, verify that everything is correct entered. You might have typed something wrong while ordering. As far as I know, everyone with a credit card can purchase Sam & Max. And to answer your question. Yes, you can do the purchase from Romania :) There's no difference if I'd be living in Hawaii or Russia or any other country on that matter.

But if you have moved houses, you might contact your local bank saying you have switched address, and you want to change that info on your card. (But if your parents live there, it's all ok to type in that address, because you can pick up your copy when it arrives then :) ) But you should be sure what address you used, when you issued your card.

Are you making it to the final checkout page or are you getting this message on the same page where you enter the credit card info? If you're still on that first page where you enter the billing and credit card info, it sounds like you entered the credit card with dashes or spaces, which doesn't work. Leave out the dashes / spaces and try again.

As far as I know, we do accept purchases from Romania. If a country is on the drop-down list, it's supported.

I entered the correct address (I checked with the bank to see if the address differs from the one I have on my ID card, and they are the same).
I made it to the final checkout page, and I already entered the number without dashes and spaces.
The funny part is that the bank told me they didn't received any transaction request...
And one more thing: the online shop requests a zip code. I don't have a zip code (well, actually I do have one, but it's not displayed in my contract with the bank, or on the ID card, so it's like it doesn't exist). Could this be the problem ? Thanks !
