The different 'Table Conversations'

What exactly does each one represent? I set it to Gift of Gab because I think that makes them more talkative. Could someone please tell me what each means or where I can find out?

Mum's The Word: Characters never talk unless they have to. (Saying lines for checking, raising, et cetera.)
Idle Chit Chat: Characters make the occasional conversation.
Chewin' The Fat: Characters make conversation quite frequently.
Gift of Gab: Characters never stop talking.
