Crash in S&M Ep 3

So after leaving the boss bear's office in the casino, I clicked on the (now empty) sandwich stand. The game then hung and I actually had to restart. (Ctrl-alt-del was not responding.)

Does it happen consistently, or just that once?

I did the same thing again and it didn't happen.

However a crash of the same nature happened later in the game after I had "neutralized" Bosco's security system.

The music continued but the game was totally unresponsive, and the mouse was not moving in game. (But was moving on my second monitor.) However Ctrl-Alt-Del had no effect. (I have it set up to pop up task manager on my second monitor so I would see it even if the game was still full screen.)

A similar crash happened again, this time in the chase scene while Sam was drawing his gun.

Sometimes if the game freezes like that, you can get out of it by pressing Esc to bring up the menu, saving, and then loading the saved game. Next time it happens, give it a try and see if that fixes it for you.

Could you also tell us your system specs, please?
