I just randomly decided to check to the telltale website a few minutes ago and saw that it was down. Google told me about the leak of the trailer and now I am miraculously downloading the episode. Completely unexpected.

Yeah, I was trying to look at the forums and kept getting the "Under the Knife" message. I was like "Huh, they usually only do that when they're uploading a game but Get Tannen! isn't supposed to come out any time soon. Then bam and I was like :D

Strange that there was no mail or anything about the episode sent to me at least.

I also noticed the whole site was down yesterday and kind of were suspecting this, but interesting that it's suddenly out now. I'm starting now, hopefully there are less typos in this one.

And I hope Telltale releases an updated episode 1 now that corrects all the typos.

I just downloads ep. 2 and there no picture in just but the credits are on there and the BTTF logo but no game just the voice, it's pitch black?

I can see several changes that have been made since the first episode. For example the town seems more lively now.

Shame that there are still those typos there that were in many places in Ep1 also.

"afaid" "mechnanism"

Einy / Einie etc.

There was one line of young Doc that I couldn't hear any audio for, but I saw the subtitle and Doc's lips were moving...

Well, I, for one, am not pleased with the "surprise" release.

I mean, of course I'm happy to play the new episode.

But, part of the fun is the wait, the slow mounting of activity in the forums, etc. etc.

You should know when it's a few days to Christmas... it's just not the same if you wake up and "*BAM!*, it's Christmas!! Merry Unexpected Day!!"

Just my 2 cents.

About 11hrs ago I noticed that the website was down. Then I though to check out the game launcher that what it says about Ep2. "Now Available". First it didn't start to download, after 30min of waiting I tried again and it started but didn't install after download. Downloaded it again and the same thing. Then I went through my hard drive and found the downloaded installer exe and installed it manually and started playing. Took me 2.5hrs and five cups of coffee to get through the game :D

It's 11:47AM here now, I got through the game around 03:30Am and went to sleep. I suppose I'm one of the first to clear the episode ;)

I felt it coming around 8 pm yesterday when I saw the site was down. Checked out Steam around 12 and there it was! Finished the game by 230 am! Now I'm sad I have to wait again.

All sorted I just used my noggin, changed the URL that I used last time to reflect the new episode numbers and Voila!

45 minutes after the post about the release...that does not bode well for the game length.

Took 2-3 hours but of course needed to figure some things out during the game, probably would take about 90 mins if i knew exactly where to click each time.

Surprise releases, it has come to this. ;)

Actually, a lot of the long-term community members wanted it that way. Keeps the forums less crowded, cuts the waiting stages by one, diminishes the "Waiting thread" to a mere three pages, counters the attack of the F5 refreshers on release day and so forth.

Next time, the initial episode upload attempt might even succeed. ;)

In all honesty, this sounds to my hear just as "let's buy an already decorated Christmas tree! It's so much more rational, quick and easy!" Yep, and free of the fun of it.

I really don't know, Vainamoinen: another "lot of the long-term community members" has also always said that such a things were half of the fun of it.

We often "defended" the episodic model basing on this very things.

Apparently Snotbeard already has it through D2D, but since he's off-line he can't tell us how he managed this remarkable feat.

I think it's rather ridiculous that D2D is somehow delaying the release when every other digital download service already has it. I'm definitely rethinking future D2D purchases.

I am annoyed with Telltale Games right now...

Guess how I found out episode 2 was released? That's right by word of mouth from a friend who downloaded the cracked version.

Now when I am a paying customer I expect to get served first and get a notification email of the release.

Just goes to show that maybe you are better off not paying at the end of the day.

i got it through in less than 3 hours without using the hint function.
I would guess, that the first episode was longer...

Just finished Episode 2, and wow, it's pretty good! The first act seemed a little too easy, but once we got to Act 2, it really picked up steam. I loved all of Trixie's songs, and even listened them in their entirety before talking to other characters just to hear them :)

The middle part of the game (Acts 2 & 3) had some good puzzles which weren't as simple as in Episode 1, and once again, the whole thing really feels like something out of a BTTF movie.

Well done Telltale, I'm enjoying it so far :)

Beat it. Not any more impressed with the gameplay than the first episode. Looks like the whole thing is going to be this dirt easy. Oh well, the story is phenomenal. I can't wait to see what else happens!
