Hi everyone,

You can now pre-order the first episode of Hector: Badge of Carnage (titled: We Negotiate With Terrorists) for PC and Mac. An Ipad-version is coming later. It's 10 dollars (or 7 Euro's in my case). The release date is April 27, with episode 2 and 3 coming in the fall. That's right, we're getting a BttF-episode, a JP-episode and a Hector-episode all in one month.

Pre-Order bonuses:

* Free version of Puzzle Agent (I own 3 versions of this game by now, but for those of you that don't have it: it's awesome!)
* Access to Private Insiders Forum (I just pre-ordered, but the forum doesn't seem to be up just yet)
* 10% of purchase donated to Japan relief efforts

The minisite is updated as well. You can now watch the trailer and two short animated movies, watch some screenshots and get confirmation on the pre-order bonuses. The about-page and episode-pages are still under construction.

The pre-order is just for episode 1. It seems it's the same as with Puzzle Agent: it doesn't really count as a season, so you just buy the seperate episodes as they become available.

I really enjoyed this on iPhone, I stumbled upon it after seeing it in a screenshot of somebodies homescreen. I pre-ordered the second I saw it was live.

Puzzle Agent isn't even that good, I don't understand why they offer it yet again...
At the very least TTG could offer us some proper pre-order bonuses like coupon codes/discounts so people get some actual incentives to pre-order.

What's with Telltale trying to push Puzzle Agent so much? This is the second time they've been giving it as a free pre-order bonus.

Don't get me wrong, Puzzle Agent is awesome, it just seems a little strange.

I would guess that since just about everything else is licensed to someone, they aren't allowed to give it away for free. Or at least, it's a lot easier to do it when it's something to which they own all the rights to.

Yeah, the preorder here is lame. Most people have 2 or 3 copies of PA by now if they have been playing TellTale games for any length of time. The other issue is that on the iPhone Hector is $4. It costs $6 more and it comes with something most people already have. Not so good by TellTale. The game should be $5 to begin with at most, and then the preorder should give a discount on future Hector episodes or something like that.

I was thinking about it, but I already have Puzzle Agent, and I don't think the $1.00 from my order would benefit Japan a whole lot. If they let us choose Poker Night at the Inventory instead, I probably would have went for it.

I'll probably still buy it, but I'll wait 'til they have something else new I'm interested in, like Puzzle Agent 2 (which will probably also come with Puzzle Agent), and combine the order.

YES! Here's a game for me. Haven't been this psyched about a TellTale release besides Sam & Max.

I don't, nor will I ever, own an iPhone, but just looking at the trailer has me ROFL like in the good old days. The humor kind of makes me think of Archer (http://https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Archer_%28TV_series%29), but that's probably even more raunchy than this. An idea for a new franchise there, be my guest.

My only concern here are the system requirements, with 3GB of RAM. That's probably not the minimum though, as I can run the first episode of BTTF that I got for free, just fine with only 2GB.

As Jake points out here (http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=490220&postcount=21), the TellTale engine should be the same with Hector.

Even though it wouldn't work on my machine, I would get an excuse to go and visit my folks and play it there. Plus, it only costs ten bucks, one of which goes to a good cause. Even though it wouldn't work at all (hit and miss, like with the Adventure Bundle) I still could have used 7EUR much more stupidly than this.

I'm fairly sure I made a good deal, but we'll see in a couple of days.

I pre-ordered but Hector is not showing up under my "Games" tab. Telltale has yet to get back to my query. Is this normal? Does it only appear when it goes live? Puzzle Agent popped up just fine!

i got 4 copys of puzzle now, 5 if you count the steam version

and i had to preorder twice, cause my first order got cancelled together with jurassic park, lol

I thought it was supposed to come out today? I can just imagine it getting delayed until fall to come out closer to the next 2 episodes. Nothing will surprise me anymore considering how close to the release day they decided to let everyone know about jurassic parks delay.

Telltale Games is in California, as far as i know. So its still early in the morning for them.

Also i dont share your point of view about the delay. Hector is just a port - it was already finished when they started, so delaying that is close to impossible. Now Jurassic Park is a different thing. Almost everyone from the community said that the gameplay they saw sucked, and it was probably not the game Telltale has hoped for, so they delayed it to make something better out of it.

If the delay for Jurassic Park is indeed for making the game better due to the poor feedback after the live demo that was shown a couple months ago, then by all means delay it until they believe its as great as they can make it. Personally I actually applaud the Heavy Rain-like gameplay as it is one of my favorite games for the ps3. But its the fact that they waited until last minute to inform us that they we're delaying the game, and not like a month or so, but the fall. They even stated days before the delay on the forums that they had it under control that really made me bitter. I dunno, maybe its just because I was really, REALLY looking forward for this game. But I love Telltale so i know I'm just going to forgive and forget. At least theres Back to the future ep4 this week.............right?

Correct and i think its greedy buying the most expensive thing in the store, just because they have prolonged the release date, besides i like the look of hector it seems funny. :)

I don't think Alan is in charge of the "Release game"-button. Also: Getting the game out AT ALL is more important than to please some impatient "Euro guys". After all Telltale is a US-based company, so relax... or do something productive in the meantime. ;)

you have fifteen minutes left to make your release window... after that, you're actually a day too late.

this "release problem" you always seem to have is actually something you need to work on.
The most simple fix: give an actual release date, as in; "US - april 27, Europe - april 28".
That way you don't make people wait all day for nothing.

(a better fix would be to release a game at the beginning of your business-day... that would fix the time zone problem)

is kicking himself for ordering this early, before even knowing we'd get that JP voucher, when he has no time to play due to marking for a week or two anyway.

Could it be that the demo does not work? It works till the login screen - than the program tells me that I don't own the game (wich I don't but that shouldn't interest for a demo) and does not start.

Well, I suppose not even the demo itself works because the game hasn't been officially released yet... in which case, they maybe shouldn't have the demo up yet.

It would be really nice if I could get at least an reply (I've asked two times already!). BTW: just deleting the "demo" button from the page ist NOT an answer. But no reply is for me a sign that TT doesn't care about my questions so I've decided that I don't care about the game anymore and won't buy it.
