View Full Version : From a Gamer to a Gamer: Will this work for Gamestop In-Store?

Alright, so I preordered Brink from gamestop and I chose in-store pick-up, used my brother's debit card, and printed out the confirmation papers.
Gamestop tells me in one part that "a form of payment and confirmation papers are required" and then in the next it tells me I need that AND "government-issued identification or driver's license".
Brink is rated T for teen, and I'm 14. I know that M games (no matter how purchased) at gamestop need ID.
Will this work: I go into gamestop, show the confirmation papers, and pay in cash.
Or will I have to have my brother pay in cash and show his driver's license?

It depends on who is serving you some people just take the cash no questions others ask for ID like jerks.

I think the general consensus is to just go try it and find out, and if they won't give you the game, drag your brother (or parental units) out to get it.

I would say that it's a pretty good chance that none of us have any idea.

It's people like you that cheapen the art of beard cultivation.
Also, those are mustaches

Well...the fact that I am quite incapable of growing any sort of facial hair is a big drawback in my case.
Yes, they are mustaches. Because mustaches are cool and you can reuse them for parties. I suppose if you really had to have a beard you get something like this:

Only middle-aged and older men can get away with having just a mustache with no beard. My wife's brother suspects it has something to do with how anyone Gen-X and younger watched cartoons where the guy who had a mustache almost always was the creepy bad guy in the show.

I suppose I should have altered that to read "mustaches are funny." Armed with my array of false facial hair, I can safely say that practically anything becomes hilarious when it has a mustache stuck on it.

Actually, I'm still laughing.
