BTTF Ep 4: Changing resolution crashes game

I have downloaded this game from Steam. I can play the game fine (so far) on the default resolution but every time I increase to my monitors native resolution or anything higher than default, the game crashes. I can lower the resolution no problem and adjust any of the other video options but an increase in resolution crashes the game every time, no matter what I do. I updated both my video and audio drivers and it had no effect. Can anyone help?

A) Painfully obvious. I did not need to be told that.

B) Unhelpful in fixing my problem.
