Granted, this might not be the community to have the most enthusiasm for this project, but Wasteland was an absolute classic, and it is a genre that deserves love.

I've never played the original Wasteland, but the first two Fallout games were fantastic, so since it looks like it will be similar to those... they've got my money.

It's done! In just around 40 hours Wasteland 2 has raised 900k and is fully funded.

Started out with a $50 pledge on the first day but now I've just noticed they're wanting $15 for shipping. Don't think I want to pay £40 + customs for a boxed copy. :X Will probably lower my pledge to 30.

Some people just piss me off when they act so ungrateful. Like with this latest update in which a few new things were added to the $30 pledge tier like the ability to download two copies of the game (it was added so people could play a Windows & a Mac copy at the same time, or any other combination or even just to give a copy to a friend) and then you get people who are up in arms that they can't do that at the $15 level. Grrrrr.

Well there's also the extra portraits at $30. I'm going to have to consider this. I mean, I'll probably be able to add my own portraits anyways so my characters can cruise the wastelands as stick figures!
