stuck already..

so i bought it about 10 mins ago.
iv got to the bit where you jump over the fence into the garden.
i went to look through the glass window and the guy just said 'wonder if anyones home'
so i went to the gate and he says 'maybe i should look through the window first' which doesnt do anything?
iv already been around the garden looked at the pool cover, tea pots and tree house..

what do i do???

thats my problem cant go through? only option it gives me when i hover over it with the mouse is to look through

sometimes you have to be real close to interact and some times clicking more than once helps even waiting a few secs between attempts

the glass door has two spots one on the glass the other on the handle..

If you are on PC walk to the glass door, hover over the wooden handle and press 2 to use it.

yup 2 options one to look and the other shown by a hand is to open it after you do the hand it shows a open door option

you can use numbers to select action choices, 1 for look 2 for open for example.
The mousewheel also works if you have one

and yes, you guys are right, you have to get really close to it and press 2 on the keyboard (or possibly click somewhere)

anyway, I just wanted to say IMO its some pretty bad programming.

(was almost ready to un-install)

If you are a PC user, hover the mouse over the hotspot and you will see a highlighted eye icon and underneath that is a hand icon. You can scroll the mouse wheel to select this, or press 2. Exactly the same mechanics as speech responses.
It's not meant to be part of the puzzle..

This game has an in-game tutorial which exactly explains you how to play it. You can replay the first level if you missed the information. Tutorial text is shown top left of the screen.
