[WD] Game wont get past connecting

ok so i just pay 25 bucks and im annoyed. i get to the Click to play and it then says connecting, i let it sit for 30 min and nothing. i tryed rebooting, verify cache, reinstall direct x. What going on with this game

Played earlier today without a problem now I have this same problem.

I believe it is connecting to TTGs server, which is where it gets stats and whatever else it needs. This problem may be tied to their server issue. Not an employee, so I can only speculate.

well atleast we know, would be nice to have a company have a backup server (redundancy) incase a server eats it. I pre-ordered, just installed and try to play it today and got the "connecting loop of hell". Might want to sticky a response to the connecting issue so others like me don't have to go through nunerous "connection" issue posts....

Yikes. So the game needs to connect to TTG every time it starts up? That's some crap DRM.
