The car - mostly because I don't want Clementine to be confused when I have to disregard my morals in order to make the right decision for the group.

an interesting comparison if you give her the gun she blows her brains out if you dont she blows her brains out if you dont steal from the car kenny and the others do anyway if you do steal from the car you steal from it. so it's a fake choice

Car. No question. That girl was dead anyway.

The woman, givin' her the gun to take her own life is no question the hardest choice to make. The car is simple. Nobody around the car. It's easy to take good items. A thief can steal a car is simple. A human takes it own life is lost- rather they're brave or scare

First off, I'd never give a crazy person a gun (in the apocalypse or otherwise) - you simply don't know what they are gonna do with it. How do I know she's not gonna turn it on me the first second she gets it? Nah, not gonna happen.
Secondly, I'm gonna quote Shane from the AMC Walking Dead TV series and say "The right choice is the one that keeps us alive." ... I agree that stealing, zombie apocalypse or not, isn't exactly moral or just - but at some point you have to make a choice.
If it's a choice between me and my crew dying of starvation and looting some abandoned vehicle in the woods....That's no choice at all, for me. I'm gonna stay alive no matter what.

The fact that we don't get to see the repercussions from it immediately tells me the same thing.
I noticed there was a sweater in there for Clem. I am thinking the owner of that car is going to show up in the next episode and when they see Clem wearing their stolen clothes they will freak out and either refuse to help or become hostile.

I feel that's its the exact opposite....
The group is starving and are almost out of food, so stealing food to survive.
VS.
Helping a infected person commit suicide so she won't turn.
In my book the helping the infected survivor was the second easiest choice they have given me so far! (Making sure that Larry didn't reanimate was the easiest)

Stealing the food. I was like "Can we at least wait a bit and see if the owners turn back up?" Giving the girl the gun was never an option, even if I didn't think she was too crazy to have it there was still the fact that neither me nor Lee had seen anyone die and transform from the bite yet, and wasn't (and still not) convinced that every one who is bitten turns 100%. Eventually someone turns up whose immune or is just a carrier and never develops the condition themselves.

the decision to give Irene the gun was the easiest decision so far as far as I'm concerned. She was going to die anyway, and this way she doesn't come back as a walker to kill anyone else. It's not like I shot her in the head against her own will. She wanted it. It was a no-brainer (pardon the pun) to hand over the gun.
The car was definitely harder, but I ended up not stealing the food because Clementine already saw me kill Danny and I didn't want her to lose any trust in me.

Motel girl didn't stand a chance in hell, and there's no way of knowing who the car belonged to.
The choice with missing information is always harder.

I'd say refusing the gun to Irene in episode 1. I just didn't take the food from the car because the car's owners might retaliate. Besides, I'd do what Clem wants.

Neither, I felt whether or not to kill Larry was a heck of a ton harder than either of those decisions.
If those are the only two options then I would have to say stealing food from the car.

Agreed. The Larry and even Doug / Carly decision was tough as hell. Whenever a person's life is in question, it's tough.
The gun issue is more of an emotional response. She was going to die anyway, but I let her choose her way out because she has a right to die with dignity.
I took the goods from the car. It will probably cause problems in future, but Lee needs to be in charge and seen taking care of the group. Lilly and Kenny are too busy with their power struggle. The group needs a Rick, and Lee seems to be closest to that.
