Where has Lee died in your game?

In your first time playing each episode, where has Lee died? Did anyone make it through both episodes without dying or restarting once?

In my initial play-through, I was eaten by the first zombie you have to end with a screwdriver in episode 1. In the second, I was shot by one of the brothers in the barn when I failed to grab then gun in time, then died again walking towards Brenda in the house.

Somehow I managed to be killed by the police officer zombie at the start of episode 1. I didn't think to move away, and he got me!

Haven't died since then though.

This. So far, it's the only time I've died in either episode. It took me maybe 10 tries, since the cursor moves with the camera it's difficult just for the sake of being difficult. :rolleyes:

The only time I died was fighting the walker in the truck. I honestly didn't know that the game was prompting me to move my mouse from one side to the other. I must have struggled with this about ten times before I decided to look it up, and had no trouble after that.

As far as the brother in the barn, I probably would have died, except for my mouse happened to be in exactly the right place, and I'm sure I clicked it at the last possible second necessary to save my life. Man, I was never so charged with adrenaline before in my life!

In the first episode, I died with the police officer on purpose, to see if we can die in the game. Never died in that episode again.

In the second episode, I died twice while struggling with Danny, because I'm playing without hint interface, and for the love of everything almighty was clicking everywhere on the screen (well, on Danny :p ) but couldn't find where's the hotspot to kick Danny's ass.

I suppose I know why hotspots are in weird position, they're placed so they wouldn't block objects/people when they're constantly on, but without the hint system finding those hotspots is a b****.

first death was. when i was fighting travis in the back of the ute( pickup)

wasnt sure how i was supposed to do it at first. second death i wasnt quick enough for the gun from andy

Once during the motor inn ice-pick ninja challenge in episode 1. I wasn't expecting Lee to miss the head and have to stab again, well played TTG.

Multiple times while wrestling with the zombie in the back of the pick-up truck at the motor inn. Only because I couldn't work out what the action indicators in that scene required me to do.

Once during the confrontation with Danny in episode 2, I was too slow grabbing the barrel of the gun.

Oh and once during the bandit ambush. I got too far behind the tractor because I was trying to leave space for Mark (unnecessary) and that legless torso zombie caught me for a particularly embarrassing death. :D

First playthrough I only died in the barn when I had to grab Andy's gun (died 4 times in a row on that though).

Second playthrough I died against the zombie in the motel yard.

I first made it through both episodes without dying. Then I went through my other play-throughs dying when you run out of bullets for the police officer, and when Brenda kills you.

I completely forgot that I died to Danny the first time you open the stall door, and that I got shot by Brenda a bunch of times because I didn't stop when she pointed the gun at me. Silly me!

Then I died from being electrified by fence because my controller fell of my hands xd.

I didnt die once in episode 1. Died 3 times in episode 2, first time was against the zombie teacher after falling off the truck. Didnt realise you had to move the head to the side and got chomped. Second time was not reacting to Danny appearing at the doorway in the barn and getting shot. Third time was walking towards Brenda when she was pointing the gun and again getting shot.

And when I didn't know you had to HOLD S and not press S to back away (Or was it W?) On the truck when that zombie teacher attacked me. :mad:

Died once on the zombie wrasslin' scene in episode 2, and died once when I got shot in the mouth by the brother.

Not too bad of a track record so far. :)

I died during my second playthrough at almost every chance. But for the first, I only died during the hotel sequence in episode one, during the Brenda encounter in episode two and once by the mosasaur in episode four.

The reason I didn't die when Danny aims the gun at you is just because there is a loading icon which prompts me to do something.

I didn't die in episode one, but I died to the legless walker in the bandit attack, and I also died a couple of times to brenda.

Didn't die at all in Episode 1.

But for some reason it took me forever to figure out what to do at Brenda's part in Episode 2. I felt pretty dumb. :(

God, Im trying to remember back to my first Ep 1 playthrough, lol. I think I died for the first time at the Motor Inn by the RV. For some reason the zombie kept jumping on me before I could get the headshot. In Ep 2, it was the zombie in the truck that Lee brought back. I didnt know you were supposed to bash his head into the sides so he bit me. Then I lingered too long looking over the tractor and got shot in the head by the bandit. Then, I got killed a couple of times by Danny because I couldnt grab the gun quick enough. I think that was it for my first run through.

Never died in episode 1, died three time in ep 2.

First time I died was at the zombie teacher scene because I didn't know to move the zombie to Larry.

Second time was when the farmer had the gun towards me and my controller shut down so I couldn't push it away.

Third time Brenda shot me. Turns you "YOU DON'T HAVE THE GUTS TO SHOOT ME!" is a bad thing to say :p

The first zombie u fight in Clem's house got me once and then the brother with the shotgun got me in the barn once and of course Brenda's Bitch Ass got me 4 times b4 I found the Hot Spot!:o (oh yeah I forgot the bandits killed me once when I lost track of the tractor I was using for cover)

I died outside the motel from the zombie turning it's head, couldn't find the hotspot fast enough.
On episode 2 I died once on Brenda and again on Andy, couldn't move my controller fast enough and he punched me to death.

Oh yeah, and Danny shot me in the barn. Dang, that whole family has got me.

i died almost like four times: one when Sandra the nanny ate me because i thought she died when i "bashed" her head, she was moving just a little of her body i thought i was done but...meh, and two when i chopped off David's and took to the motor inn when i was fighting him in the car he ate me, and three got shot in the head by Danny, and four Brenda shot me tons and tons of times (that's when i thought it was a glitch). i think i am the biggest loser around here...:D

Lying, at the very least. The mosasaur in episode 4 is actually Jurassic Park, and I died in that sequence several times.

Based on the comments, it looks like the brother in the barn is the most likely Lee-slayer. It makes me feel better about pitchforking him.

I noticed when you use a gamepad you just have to put in in the general location. But if you use mouse you have to put it in the exact spot.

I see. I guess they changed the hotspot area range for the mouse because with the mouse it's faster to control the cursor than with the gamepad. But it also makes things more difficult, especially during action sequences. I'm lucky I died only three times in the game (two times, if you don't count my test death as death) because in almost every action sequence I'm like 'AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! THE FRIGGIN' HOTSPOT?!?!?! WHERE'S THE FRIGGIN' HOTSPOT?!?!?!?!? IT'S GOING TO GET ME... I'M GONNA DIE.... OH, THERE IT IS!!! I'M GONNA LIVE!!!'

seems like a lot of guys can't find someones hotspots. Maybe you should get to know them a little better.

i died on the first QTE i wasn't prepared for QTE's (i had totally avoided all news on the game except it existed basically) and i didnt know i had to repetitively tap it, and also i ran back into the zombie with the screwdriver in her back before larry punches you to kill it, and also the danny gun bit
