CSI-3 Dimensions of murder problem

I got CSI-3 Dimensions of murder today and it worked fine to install it but when i'm gonna play the game isn't working. I put in the disc and it spins and the menu comes up and i chose play but then nothing happends. I updated my drivers, i tried my Gta San Andreas and it works fine.

Do you have a second disc drive you could try it in, or another computer you could try it on? This would let us know if it's a problem with the disc.

Worst case you should try returning it as defective and see if another copy works.
