It's funny when you act nice to him in the first episode, like saving Duck and siding with Kenny, (which is what I did) but in the second episode if you side with Lilly in the meat locker, he acts like you resented him all his life. :confused: Right now, he's a foe to me. Best watch out for him if he decides to kill another of your group in the upcoming episodes. Let's not let him turn into Shane, shall we?

I find Kenny to be somewhat predictable so far. He's imo the: "Here's a ride in my truck we're totally buds now, but when crap hits the fan I'm going to indiscriminately kill any perceived threat till I can get my kid and wife somewhere."

I'm guessing they did that on purpose to be a foil to Lilly's: "I'm a hardass chick with a horrible father but I end up being very loyal, smart and competent if given half a chance."

yeah it is odd how kenny bases his 'feelings' on certain moments..good in theory but a bit flawed in execution.

My 3rd playthrough, which is still incomplete (still on episode 1), is meant to be a silent Lee. I hear that the dinner scene is pretty hilarious when Lee storms in and doesn't say a word.

My opinion on Kenny has diluted a bit since my first playthrough. I've played three times now, so my initial feelings, which were shock and disgust (that he acted so quickly to kill Larry), have subsided.

In my first playthrough, I'd say Kenny is...neither friend nor enemy. I can understand why he did what he did. I was disappointed in him but I wasn't ready to label him an enemy. I stayed silent when he asked me what I thought after we'd left the farm.

Also, about the silent dinner scene, it actually isn't that entertaining. Most of the dialogue stays the same, but towards the end Brenda assumes you've been upstairs and then starts to explain. It unfolds mostly the same as when you do talk.

he's the prototypical, pennsylvanian (or maybe west virginian) hills red neck. i surprised his hat doesnt read "scotch". :) his kid is dumber than a "bag of hammers" the apple falls, not quite so far, from the tree afterall.

however, he drove lee & clementine away from that farm owning prick's zombie infested acreage. his wife also gives clem some positive female attention, which lee just cant provide, especially in the absence of her birthmother.

in this case, hes a bro. although i think i'll save the punch throwing for lee himself.

Kenny's from Florida, but I know what you mean since I live in that area myself (actually NY, but as my dad said you could spit and hit PA from where we live). My family is definitely redneck and proud of it (my mom's side, not my dad's [although his statement I quoted above leads me to think he had a little bit of redneck in him too ;)]), but that's certainly not a bad thing. That makes them rough around the edges (as Kenny is), but they're lovable once you get to know them (and I still think Kenny is too).

And then on the other hand, Kenny doesn't have to do much to continue to piss off most players either.

At this point folks know that if you don't back Kenny right or wrong 110% then don't expect him to back you at all.

Just...can't trust a man who's only loyalty is his family. If you are outside of his unit then tough luck. Good for the family bad for everyone else. What's good for the fam may not be good for the group.

Shawn is dead because Shawn let Duck play on farm equipment that he had no right to be on.. Kenny was getting his son away from danger, cant blame him there.

Larry also MIGHT die and come back as a walker trapped in a small room with us so Kenny made the right decision imo.

What was he supposed to do in this situation? His son was almost pulled away by Walkers and there was no way of knowing how many more there were around. Getting my kids to safety would be number one priority for me also.
