Can someone please help me?

For some odd reason whenever I go to launch my walking dead game through steam, it tries to start but fails and doesn't. I have had this problem in the past but it was fixed when episode 2 came along with a patch, but aparently I am not able to play it again. Please can someone tell me what I should do?

Does it freeze after the connecting part? I always have to tab out to bring up the menu. Try tabbing out then in.
