Exactly what it says on the tin. Upvoted ten games I'd like to see on Steam, including Giana.

I upvoted 2 for now.

McPixel & DLC Quest

Also: 92 more games were added since I checked...

McPixel, and nothing else so far.

It's already being abused with requests.
I see Silent Hill 2 & 3...which are not legitimate submissions.

I saw Elder Scrolls Arena. Some people just aren't bright... Go to the discussions and found the wonderful "Why steam won't add Minecraft or Battlefield 3"...

Haha Half-Life 3. How did that even get passed?

...well that one lasted 2 seconds.

FUCK GIANA IS ON GREENLIGHT?!

Holy shit upvote the fuck out of this one, the game looks fucking sweet! And it's funded!

It was mentioned on the Kickstarter thread, but yeah, Project Giana's up there.

Another actually interesting one is Transport Giant (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=93048349), a big managing sim similar to the old Tycoon games (but by a different developer it seems).

Either this is a really elongated process, or people have shitty taste in games. Nothing I've voted for is passed 7% yet.

I think it takes a large amount of votes to reach 100%. Even Project Giana (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92852223) with its recent Kickstarter campaign (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/project-giana/project-giana) and playable demo has only reached 10%.

So the feed has been changed up to show some popular ones and some new ones right away, and a $100 fee to list games has been added, to cut down on fake/joke postings(all money from Greenlight fees goes to Child's Play). On one hand, yeah WTC Plane Simulator, House Fire 2013, and fake listings for Minecraft and Half-Life 3 had to go, but this puts a barrier on extremely tiny developers on a service that is about taking down barriers.

Wouldn't $50 have been a better choice. That seems more affordable for the legitamate developers and still take care of the fakers.

Deadly Rooms of Death sequel/remake (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=93811035). The original (of which you can find a freeware version if you look for it) is an amazing classic so this needs your support.

I'm really surprised none of the three have passed yet.

Yogscast have a massive following, especially when you remember there are more to them than Simon and Lewis, McPixel had Jesse Cox of OMFGcata and pewdiepie backing that up, and Black Mesa has had so much hype for how long now?

Darth Marsden

Hey, here's the list of the first set of games to be released through Steam thanks to being on Greenlight!

- Black Mesa
- Cry of Fear
- Dream
- Heroes & Generals
- Kenshi
- McPixel
- No More Room in Hell
- Project Zomboid
- Routine
- Towns

There's two there that should catch people's attention. Can you see what they are?

(http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=93001127)As I believe I've mentioned elsewhere (probably the Doctor Who thread), it's just The Gunpowder Plot at the moment, which is the best of the 'Adventure Games'. That's not saying a huge amount, but there you are.

And besides, these games, lame as they are, as still way, way better than the other Doctor Who games we've had recently. OH so much better.

The two games I was specifically referring to were indeed Black Mesa and McPixel, but looking at the other games it's not hard to see why they're on the list. Routine in particular looks stunning.

Almost total opposite. The almost part being I agree with the last part. But that's because us Minecraft modders just have something against them. I kind of forgot why actually, but I need to stand by my fellow modders, even though I quit modding altogether. Mainly because of the Yogcast probably.

Cognition looks pretty awesome, it even has Jane Jensen (Gabriel Knight) working on it

Anyway, I saw their trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ne7RKSGu22A) and played their demo (http://www.postudios.com/cognition/), so far I really liked what I saw and played (though I wish the demo had harder puzzles, but it's a demo, it's expected to be easy).

Currently they're on steam greenlight waiting to be approved (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CC4QFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fsteamcommunity.com%2Fsharedfiles% 2Ffiledetails%2F%3Fid%3D92915746&ei=0NTkUObBIo2ThgfKu4CACw&usg=AFQjCNEtDjvhl7UeTuIiJHTl0UvgHfN6Iw&bvm=bv.1355534169,d.d2k) (though, they need our voted for it) and honestly, I want to show my support to indie adventure game devs (hence why I created this thread)

Hopefully the game will get greenlight :)

If you already bought the game directly from the developer you'll find your Steam key on your Humble Bundle account page.
