Debacle...nice word...*Ahem*

So here's the problem: I got a new computer, but Gametap doesn't run on it, because the operating system is 64-bit. This means that I won't be able to play S&M: Season Two, at least not without buying it twice(Which I did last year, but that was an accident). So, I guess my question is, what do I do? I'm still subscribing to Gametap, and I can't afford both Gametap and Season Two, not to mention the 24 hours of wait...*Shudder*

Can you help, Telltale?

Thanks,

-Kedri

I can help by saying Buy Season Two!, but other than that, GameTap working or not working on a 64-bit operating system is very out of our hands! You might want to check over on their boards to see if they're saying anything about it over there.

Dang... :\

Ok, I'll go over there, then. Thanks.

Hello

If you are running a 64-bit operating system, then you cannot run GameTap. There
is nothing we can do about it. I apologize

Thank you,
Annah

I NEED Season Two, though! :(

In fact, I may even need to borrow an emote...

Much better. I'll sleep on this. Hopefully, morning shall harbor ideas.

...nope. The only idea coming to me now is to cancel Gametap in a fit of rage... :\

You could always buy a 32bit upgrade edition of xp. They must be going pretty cheap now. It would be worth it in the long run if everything worked under it?

Well, the debacle has made me miss launch day. :(

Tomorrow's the real launch day.

Er...? Well, for the world. But I have Gametap. :)

Don't worry. I'm not terribly discontented. I'll get S&M, one way or another.

(All legal anothers, of course. ;) )

Hi, just thought I'd conclude the matter...

I've cancelled Gametap. For the three months that I've been tolerating this, there have been no announced plans for 64-bit support. Once I've saved up enough money, I'll buy Season 2 directly from Telltale.

Patience is a sharp razor to swallow. :)
