View Full Version : Episode 4 for PS3 help

Hi, I'm having trouble with this episode, I can play the beginning until I get inside the house then my save data gets corrupted. I backed up my saved data before this happened so I tried it again and same thing happens. Everytime I go into the house my data gets corrupted. Anyone else having this problem? Or does anyone have a way to fix this...? Thanks D:

My save got corrupted near the end of episode 4, and since I did not have my save data backed up, I lost all previous progress. I do not know of a fix for this bug.

I just had the same exact problem. Corrupted for me when I was in the middle of the episode.. Then it told me it would be "recreated" then froze. I restarted my playstation and all of my save files were gone.

Really disappointing to wait so long for a game we should've already fully had, only to find out it's ruined by bugs. I'm extremely disappointed from this. 2/10 :(

Yeah, that's exactly what happened to me too! It tried to recreated a save file and froze my ps3. This isn't fun :(

I'm seriously disheartened from this. I really don't want to play through each individual episode to finish the last hour of the episode I have left. Even at the risk of this happening all over again. I'd need some sort of an official announcement that this awful bug is fixed.

Damn, I'm halfway through the episode but now I'm scared that my save is gonna get corrupted.

TellTale, fix please? :D

I just finished Episode 4 with no errors, but my brother played his save (on the same account) and immediately the saves got corrupted. Unfortunately I'll have to replay all of them before Episode 5 gets released. A shame that they don't have a fix to this after five episodes. Good news is for those who buy this game from the stores, it shouldn't have a problem on disk.

Me too, thank good I got a backup of my save file. I might hold off playing for a bit.

Just lost all my saves by corruption for the second time, the first being the ps3/episode 2 save slot 3 bug when that episode was released. This game is completely fucked. Maybe I'll try it again when all the episodes are out. Maybe.

My best idea for advice is to back up your files or copy them onto a flash drive. Sure you may lose whatever your progress was in a specific episode, but you won't lose ALL your data. At least what I've started doing :o
