I don't see many, if any people from the first group making it to season 2. Apparently it is supposed to get darker than episode 3 and episode 4 wasn't too bad. Which makes me think the chit is gonna hit the fan in episode 5.

Nope. Considering the possibility that she's pregnant, she won't live much longer. She might commit suicide after her baby dies (hey, will that baby LIVE in an apocalypse?) plus, Omid's condition isn't helping.
